I stayed 2 nights on 11/3 & 11/4. The afternoon I checked in the staff help was impeccable! Everything they said they would do, was done timely and as expected. I cannot say the same of the next days staff who was slow, did not listen to instructions and sat at the front desk complaining about people instead of doing their jobs. Upon entry to the room I had very mixed emotions...I found the decor and choices for the Egyptian theme exciting, but was unhappy at the amount of money I had just pledged to pay for such a small room. I have stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Boise at the same rate, and found the rooms to be much larger and more updated. The carpet in this room really needs to be replaced as well as paint work done in areas that it was obvious had not been cared for. I also found the Sound and TV system to be a royal pain to operate, and the idea of using a projector as a Tv screen just doesn't fly well with me, since projectors are not good quality for watching movies. Also, this room could use to have blackout curtains or painted windows...I literally got next to no sleep because the street light shined into the room all night, even when the blinds were turned (either way). The worst and final thing that I want to report on is their system of not having staff at the facility front desk on Sundays... Every guest had a room key with a 4 digit code for the south entrance door that was supposed to let me back in on Sunday when they did not have staff at the front desk. My code did not work and unfortunately I had left my phone and purse in the room while making the first of 2 trips to take my stuff out to the car. I walked around the block to see if there were any open businesses to use their phone, to no avail. 20 minutes later (after waiting to see if anyone would exit the building to let me in) decided that I would run down to a local breakfast spot and use their phone to call. I did receive 2 codes, of which the first 1 worked, but as you can imagine, was not very happy at this point. If asked if I would recommend this property to someone else as an upgraded option in Idaho Falls...I would have to say no. The rates reflect that they think they are a 5 star establishment, when they most definitely are not better...

Read moreMy stay at Destinations was a complete accident! I was in town for one night only, and looking at all the regular haunts I found them to be full. Destinations had one room, The Congo. I decided to go, and made my reservation. ||||When I saw the outside of the building I had many reservations! It looked old, and I was skeptical about what I’d gotten into? However, upon entering I found not only a clean building, it was a completely different atmosphere from the outside!||||The staff there were amazing, and I didn’t feel judged for being on my own even though this was definitely a couple’s environment. I was made to feel welcome and at home immediately! They had multiple options for breakfast, I chose the delivery option for after I checked in. It was what you’d expect, muffin, granola bar, juice, yogurt, but delivered to my room approximately 10 min after getting in the room. Perfect choice if I’d been with someone, but I enjoyed it on my own as well!||||After entering my room, I was transported! Bamboo, a rock fountain, a raised bed with amazing decoration! Then a steam shower, and though I did not take advantage of the steamer, the shower was nice. Low water pressure, but not unbearable. Then a jacuzzi tub!!!🎉 Very spacious, even if I’d had someone with me, and the soak in jetted water!😌😌😌||||The TV was very large, and played soothing music upon entering. The bed, though quite soft for my taste, was still ver comfortable! Do bring slippers if you’re in a room with a rock floor, unless you like that sort of thing. As a bigger guy it wasn’t particularly pleasant, however not enough to dampen the rest of the stay.||||All in all my happy accident turned into an amazingly comfortable stay! Ten out of ten, I would...
