Customers be worn possible health risk at this establishment.

I visited this location September 7th 2025!

Every time that I walked past this place seemed like an absolutely amazing place it was always busy, the smells, smelled amazing. The food looked amazing from a distance everything that one would want from an amazing restaurant that I keep hearing about.

My concern is and I want to make sure everyone is aware of this I do not think this restaurant understands how cleanliness works as most of the silverware, cups etc etc had caked on food. Now I understand things happen dishwashers break but the silverware was wrapped up by hand meaning a staff member did not see the caked on food it was absolutely disgusting which also brings up the other point that if our silverware cups and plates were dirty what about all the silverware cups plates etc that The cooks and chef make the food with were they clean?

The sad part was I was super hungry and I really wanted to try their food but after me seeing the cleanliness issue I lost my appetite which made me very sad.

I kindly let the hostess know that we would be leaving as the cleanliness of this establishment was below any sort of health inspection rating when it comes down to the cleanliness of the utensils and China for sure. I did not check the bathroom I did not go any further after finding the issues with all of the silverware plates etc etc but I have been food poisoned in the past and this will not be a place I'll be testing that with.

I will tell you that the hostess and the waitress was very nice the hostess understood and she said she was very sorry that we had that experience. I let her know that I will no longer be coming back and I will be letting all my friends and family know not to come to this establishment ever as I said that My family, friends, and I have gotten food poisoning from reasons like this in the past from other restaurants. Surprise surprise those restaurants didn't actually make it they went out of business.

If you want to be a successful business my recommendation is correct these issues or I guarantee you'll be closed permanently in Elmhurst IL.

Thank you...

Italian “pub?” I think not. I’ve been to Italy and never saw a pub there, I’ve also been in a few Irish public houses and this isn’t one. It’s a trendy restaurant with a bar area. It looks like a typical downtown Elmhurst kind of a place, and I’ve eaten at most all of them only being disappointed one other time. This time makes it two. The spritz I had was great, the service from the waitress was great, but my food was downright bad. Salmon risotto. The risotto was cooked to the point of being the consistency of grits, and it came to the table cold. The salmon was good and flaked right apart, but the risotto had such a strange taste and texture it ruined the meal.

My wife got a pizza. Oh boy, this was not pizza. Not Italian or “Roman” as it states on the menu. It’s a rectangle of focaccia bread with a bit of cheese and sauce on top with some sliced pepperoni. Italians don’t put pepperoni on pizza, they also don’t make it rectangle, or on a thick, spongy loaf of bread. It was alright, but I’ve honestly had better pizza at the grocery store Mariano’s where they heat up a slice right when you order it.

You want real Italian style pizza in the suburbs go to Elio’s on fire in Addison.

You want a real Italian restaurant go to Roberto’s...

Updated: My husband and I are pleased to share that Carmen, the manager, is truly exceptional! She was able to secure the high-top booth we had requested. On this occasion, we sampled the Eggplant & Heirloom Tomato appetizer, the smoked salmon risotto, and the short rib polenta, and we were thoroughly impressed. The experience was truly wonderful! All we can say is Wow!! *Original review; The food, service, and drinks were truly exceptional! We have had the pleasure of visiting twice now and are thoroughly delighted! The ambiance and music are wonderful, and we enjoyed dining al fresco on this occasion! We savored the Mediterranean Spritz and Summer Fitz cocktails, and they were simply delicious! We also indulged in the Zucchini fritters and Arancini Alla Vodka appetizers, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful! For our main courses, we sampled the Chicken Caprese, Burger with housemade chips and their Rockethouse Pizza, and everything was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend giving it a try! You will not be disappointed! Our servers this time were Sandi and Katie! The manager, Carmen, is so kind and visited our table, ensuring we were pleased with everything and even offered us complimentary dessert! It was truly a...

I went to Ella’s Italian Pub for lunch, and overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience. Right off the bat, the Coke was flat—no syrup, no fizz, just not good. I love a good Coke, so that was a letdown. The service was the real issue, though. I went during lunch, and you’d expect faster service since most people are there on their lunch break, but it was painfully slow. It was frustrating how long everything took, especially when you’re trying to get in and out quickly. I ordered the lunch special, which came with a salad and two pizzas. The salad was actually pretty good, with a nice vinaigrette, so no complaints there. But the pizzas—both the margherita and the white ricotta—were undercooked. They had potential, but I didn’t even have time to send them back, which made it even more annoying. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating, and the ambiance was fine, nothing special. But after the slow service and undercooked food, I don’t think I’ll be going back. It just wasn’t worth it for me.

Very cute spot, great ambiance. I've been to the one in Geneva and I'd say the vibe is consistent. Great service. $55 bucks for 2. Shared a pasta dish, an app, and a pizza, no alcohol soo a little pricey if each person orders their own dish and drinks Only difference is the food was better at Geneva location. We tried the onion dip with house chips; the chips are very thin and in my opinion they were too over done in the fryer. The dip itself was good. We also got the charred pepperoni: pizza was good except not hot. More like Luke warm. So that wasn't great. Crust is phenomenal though, and unique. Last was the grilled chicken pesto cavatappi. No complaints there, was nice and hot, chicken was perfect and there was bits of tomato and spinach in there. Very good!
