Me and my Grandmother had to make a trip to pick up a new washer for her today and decided we would order takeout from this restaurant for us and the rest of our family (about 6 orders in total). We placed the order almost right at noon and we were told it would be ready around 12:30. We arrived and sent the “Here” text at 12:35 to which we got an automated reply that our order was not yet ready, which was fine because we understood we had a fairly large order for takeout and that this restaurant had not been open long so things might be moving a little slower. Around 12:45 we called to check on our order as we had not heard anything more about it at this time when we were told that one of our steaks had been over cooked and a new one needed to be prepared. We waited until 1:30 (45 minutes after our previous call and an hour after the order was said to be ready) before we called again to ask about our order to find out that the one steak that had been over cooked still had not been prepared and that our order was still not ready. At about 1:45 we still had not heard anything about our order being completed and called in telling the waitstaff not to worry about our order because it had been over an hour waiting for 1 steak to be prepared to complete our order. We were more than half way home when we received a text that our order was ready but did not go back for it because we had already told the waitstaff we were not going to wait any longer because we had other places to be. It upset me that we were not able to collect our order and really upset my grandmother that our order seemed to be put aside after a mistake was made and not corrected until after multiple calls and a final notice that we were not going to be doing business with this restaurant.
Two things about this situation were not that bad however, the hostesses who continually answered the phone did an amazing job of keeping us informed to the best of their knowledge considering most of our problems were outside of their control but was still very friendly and even went out of their way to ask 2 different managers about our situation.
The other was that the Managers had actually listened to the hostesses and had decided to comp the steak that had caused the problem from our bill (we never received the steak or any food so also this made us feel better that something was being done it unfortunately wasn’t enough for our situation)
Unfortunately, after reading some of the comments and seeing that their have been similar reviews to ours, I do not think my family will be visiting this location again for a while because there obviously seems to be some issues with the Kitchen Staff and their ability to complete orders on time...

Seems to be a bad choice of meat for this chain as the last 2 places , the flagship location in Clarksville Indiana was the worst location. It is nothing like what the country sees and gets. But hunt that location for my review.. Had to sit at the bar or wait 40 minutes. Racquel, the bartender was awesome at her job and she was hustling the whole time to keep up..
It's the cook, the quality of meat and the mgr bringing my food not as requested, and not wanting to fix it. That started the downhill decline in this visit. The mgr brings my plate to the bar. I look at it and say 'it's not right', and ask her to read the ticket. She goes 'i know, it says cut in strips and the cook didn't do that and I'm not going to'. I ask her to take it back to the cook and tell him to read the ticket. 5 minutes later she brings my food out with my meat cut in strips (as I have done for steaks the last 50 years, having only one arm. So I can cut the strips with my firm to eat it. Then, I look at the med well steak and it's full well done. And I can't cut the crappy meat with my fork Racquel gets the mgr again and I show her the meat and even my trying to cut it with my fork. No way. Mgr then says 'you want me to remake it's? I say 'no, I don't do Remakes anymore. I don't want to wait another 20 minutes at the bar (haven't drank since my 2nd divorce in 1997) only to wonder if they can do better the 2nd time around. (Plus, if I'm eating with others, I'm not going to make the others watch me eat. I have that up. So, needless to say, the only tx roadhouse in our new town, will not be a regular visit anymore, since MGMT wasn't caring about it. Big bummer. Must be using some dirt cheap meat packer these days. The steaks are not like what we've been accustomed to for 20 years. Big Big BUMMER TEXAS ROADHOUSE!! They raised prices on all steaks n ribs, but dropped the quality. Go figure.

Read moreI have been here 3 times since opening. First two times were wonderful and food was delicious. Went out for our annual girls Christmas party and it was all of their first times there. It was beyond awful! Drinks were the only thing that was amazing last night. Ordered our apps after 45 min finally our entire table received our apps. I ordered a trio platter and everything on it was barely warm. My friends wings were a completely different color than mine and turns out the inside was still raw. The third person to have an app actually had a hot app. 45 min go by we have finished our first round of drinks and apps and have yet been asked for our food order, more rolls, or refills. Track down the waitress and order. All 5 of our steaks were wrong. 3 were ordered medium well and all were medium rare. Two were ordered medium rare and were over cooked and charred on the outside. I gave my medium rare that was over cooked to a girl that ordered hers well and it was so tough she couldn’t cut it with a knife or pull it apart with her strength. Food was also so cold when we got it. The butter on top of my potatoes wasn’t even melting bc they weren’t even warm. They sent out two steaks two more times that weren’t even our tables before finally bringing us a correct one after being there for two hours we finally got our correct food hot. When we asked for a manager to complain all he had to say was it’s correct now and hot right? I can see the steam. Well absolutely but it took 3 times before we all got what we actually ordered. Our food was not even discounted after that. We had our waitress get the manager again and instead of coming back to our table to talk to us he finally decided to remove our steaks from our tickets. The waitress was super overwhelmed because this was happening to all of her tables. We saw multiple tables leave without getting actual food within our section and a few more barely touching their food before complaining and leaving. On a Saturday night this is unexceptionable.
