Came in to just get a sandwich, because my wife has Alpha-Gal Syndrome. Subway is one of the only safe spots for her allergy. We walked in and asked the lady if she could change her gloves, because of the allergy. The employee proceeded to get new gloves clearly frustrated, but then she asked if she had a clean knife. The employee said, “no, we only have three knives and they’re all used.” We asked if she could just wash it. She said sure and got upset walking to the back.
When she came back she noticed another employee walking in and stopped while flinging the “clean” knife. The other employee walked in and the lady helping us started to vent on how many sandwiches she made. Completely ignored us and continued to grill the other lady who walked in.
We were willing to wait, because we understood long days happen and we don’t have another option to eat at the moment. But the lady was so rude that we just ended up leaving.
She doesn’t need to be reprimanded and I completely understand being over worked. We all slip up. I just want to take this moment to say that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Read moreHorrible experience on my lunch break today. I tried to order online and it would not go through. So I drove to the store to place an order. Upon arrival the door was locked. The sign said open, the store hours posted on the door said open and according to the internet it said open at 9 am. I was there at 9:40 and it was not open. There was a blonde lady at the counter who just stared at me yanking on the door. I ended up getting in my truck to leave. As I came to a stop at the stop sign, I looked back one more time and saw the lady unlocking the door as I left the stop sign. She could have opened it when I was yanking on it. I wasted my lunch break and time. Terrible customer service. I also tried to file a complaint online, but I couldn't because of the lack of store number. It's on the receipts and online on the store locator supposedly. But when you look online it gives you a 4 digit number and to file a complaint you need 6 digits then hyphen and 2 more. But on 8/14/25 the older black guy service was down right RUDE he was smirking at our request & completely acting as if we were irritating him (the request was simple we didn’t want nothing on the bread as the meal was for my husband who works overnights). Now what did it for me was the blonde lady working was changing the vegetables with NO GLOVES fingers damn near on the green peppers so between the smirk , irritation & total disregard of cleanliness.
