Dear Dunkin, Donuts
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the abhorrent service I received at your Dunkinâ Donuts location at 860 Locust St., Indiana, PA 15701 (Store #364806) on July 1, 2024, at 1:07 PM (Check #3530).
I ordered six of your new sâmore doughnuts at the drive-thru. The employee did not inform me of the total cost or which window to go to. When I arrived at the first window, I was met with utter disregard and rudeness. The donuts were essentially thrown at me through the window, which was then promptly shut without any communication. Despite repeatedly tapping on the window to notify them that I had not yet paid, I was ignored.
When the manager finally opened the window, she rudely asked, âWhat do you want?â without giving me a chance to explain. When I attempted to clarify that I had already received the donuts but needed to pay, she interrupted me, yelling that my order was coming, despite the fact that I already had it. This aggressive and disrespectful behavior was appalling.
As I paid, the manager shoved the card reader out so forcefully that it repeatedly hit my phone. Upon leaving the drive-thru, I discovered that my order was incorrect. Frustrated but determined to rectify the situation, I returned to the store only to find the manager and another employee laughing as I approached. The manager again addressed me with a condescending attitude, asking, âWhat do you need?â When I informed her that my order was wrong, she dismissively told me to keep the incorrect order and finally provided the correct donuts.
This entire experience left me feeling humiliated and sick to my stomach. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect I encountered is completely unacceptable. I was merely trying to be an honest customer and pay for my order, yet I was treated with utter contempt.
I demand an immediate apology from the staff involved, especially the manager, for their unprofessional and appalling behavior. Additionally, I would like to know what steps will be taken to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an experience at your establishment.
I have always enjoyed Dunkinâ Donuts, but this experience has severely tarnished my perception of your brand. I will be sharing this incident with others and on social media until I receive a satisfactory resolution.

   Read moreThey almost NEVER get my order right and I was going here almost everyday for about a year as I live in the neighborhood. I have complained, been called by a manager and gotten a free drink. My main issue with it, is when you inform them they didnât give you your food, didnât give you your cold foam, your extra espresso, all of these things that they charge extra for, you are meant with irritability as if youâre inconveniencing them. Last time that they forgot my cold foam on my iced latte for the umpteenth time, I was told by the person working that, âwell itâs weird to get cold foam on an iced latte, thatâs why I didnât do itââŚexcuse me? I ordered a large iced matcha today and they left 1/4th filled to the top. I guess I got a medium for the price of a large. Iâm done. Donât go to this location, the other one doesnât have any of these issues. I feel the entire set up (mobile order line vs regular) is a fail that they have refuse to address. I donât know if itâs the franchise owner or what, but no idea how they stay...
   Read moreThe idea of having two young women run an entire dunkin on a busy sunday is not only stupid but unsafe. They need to hire more people at this location or not stay open until they can. Wait times are ridiculous and there is nothing these two staff members can do as I witness them work their asses off while the lines build up inside and outside. As a fellow food service worker, I feel horrible for them. I left them 15 dollars in that tip bucket because whatever theyâre making is clearly not enough to deal with the volume of customers alone. It took them 45 minutes to make my two sandwhiches and a drink and that was while they were clearly working their behinds off stressed.
And if youâre wondering if theyâre having a hard time finding applicants- theyâre notoriously known to ignore job applications despite begging for workers including from many of my friends who literally work as managers at other restaurants. This is entirely down to the hiring and scheduling manager(s). Get them more help asap or close...
