There is no mask enforcement of guests and even the woman at the register didn’t have one the entire time we were there. There’s no hosting system and getting a seat is chaotic. Food wasn’t great. It was flavorless and I got burnt, old bacon. They don’t wipe down any of the seasonings, napkin dispensers, or jams left on the table after each guest. Rural communities have been hit hard by Covid and you would think people in them would take sanitation seriously. Save your money and pick a different place to eat.

Looked for a local place outside of the West Baden and French Lick resort complex and found this gem. Took 8 people to breakfast and only heard good things, which is highly unusual. We had sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancake, omelets and of course eggs and coffee. Great service, very clean and excellent food, has to get 5 stars. Support the local economy and visit this wonderful breakfast and lunch spot.

We stayed at French Lick Resort and decided to try out a local breakfast spot. I would greatly recommend Nila's to anyone visiting the area. The prices were very reasonable and the portion was pretty huge. I had a pancake with bananas, eggs and bacon. Delicious and the one pancake was literally bigger than my head. The little diner had fast and friendly service that was warm and welcoming. We would definitely return!

I wanted to support local and came here to eat. I was very disappointed by the whole atmosphere and experience.

We walked and were greater by the woman at the register who told me a table of 2 would be available right then so we were sat down this was about 8:30am they are open 7:00am to 11:00am.

The staff seemed to be shouting at each over the dining room about issues that are owner/management's problems and any menu/supply issues should be discussed in the kitchen or office back room not yelled in front of all the dinners.

One waitress screamed over our table to another since ours was by the wall with coffee prep station, etc, that they should not take anymore. To-go at all, they have no more to go containers. They other waitress replied. I only took one, and she hollered back. I'd just tell you what I assume the owner or manager said to reiterate to everyone.

They were also out of to go cups and the country fried steak as well. So, to me, this is owner/ manager mismanagement to not have planned ahead for customers/clients not have enough containers no lt have enough meat on hand especially being open short hours and all.

So I changed my order to just half order of biscuits and gravy after being turned off from not being able to order a meal. Even so, the gravy and biscuits didn't taste homemade more like cafeteria GFS style reheated products it was sad. McDonald's literally has better that is messed up.

So then we ask for our bill and are told after we tipped and walk up very rude in tone and demeanor that my check isn't ready even though we didn't order a lot and it was just everything to remain polite and not be a class a donkey at that point.

We paid left and never will be back or recommend them just take your time go to Sinclair breakfast place at west bayden and avoid the unappreciative and unappealing rude Manager or owner who treats their staff so rude and runs a place so sloppy.

No one wants to eat where you make the atmosphere feel hostile towards your staff, feel awkward as a customer and take the stance of it is what is becasue thats why people like will eat elsewhere there are better options.

Again, this is what I witnessed and heard and experienced if you didn't great, but it's enough for...

A great breakfast. We noticed the sign from the road that said breakfast served all day, and a diner that looked as if it knew what it was doing. We were not disappointed. When we entered, we didn't have to wait to be seated. We were immediately taken to a booth. The decor is country homestyle. Upon being seated, we were given a menu that had the entire left side with multiple breakfast choices and the right devoted to lunch and dinner. The back had a kid's menu. The breakfast menu included French toast, pancakes, omelets, country fried steak and eggs, & A Bless Your Heart section for healthy minded folks (Oatmeal and Yogurt). We went with the more filling fare, ordering the Country fried steak and two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and toast for my husband and I had The Hungry Jack which was 2 scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy. We came to this decision because we both were hungry, but you can truly judge a diner on these staples: country fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Based on our breakfast, we 100% recommend Nila's. Also, very friendly staff and...

Hoping to find our local spot and always support small business! This isn't it. The food was decent except when I tried my pancakes they tasted funny (after I had to retrieve my own syrup.)asked our waitress if they were cooked in lard she said I don't think so.. maybe you should find out! Being a vegetarian I could taste the animal fat. I wasn't rude or freaked out by it just simply asked and she really didn't know and it was obvious she didn't care much about waiting on us.Our coffee only got refilled because we asked. We also were served food without silverware! When I asked our waitress she blamed someone else. We didn't get checked on at all after food was delivered. We did visit on Sunday but it wasn't busy while we were there and seemed to have ample staff talking and visiting with each other. . We also requested a to go order for when we leave, our waitress turned it in immediately with our food order and it sat in the window for over 30 minutes. It was...
