Step into the enchanting world of A Cup of Chai, where cherished memories and heartwarming nostalgia come alive in every corner. This little haven in Indianapolis, lovingly curated by the spirited and visionary owner, Pravy Nijjar, is a treasure trove of emotions that whisk you away to simpler times. As you cross the threshold, you're embraced by an aura of warmth and inclusivity, just like stepping into the comforting arms of an old friend. It's as if the cafe itself beckons you to take a moment, slow down, and relish in the beautiful memories that chai holds for us all. Pravy's journey is woven into the very fabric of this charming space. Her roots in India, where chai became the elixir of life, have seeped into every cup brewed with love. Each sip of the chai, from the classic Masala Chai to the delightful blend of unique flavors, is a voyage back to moments spent with loved ones, conversations shared, and laughter echoing through the air. The aroma of spices, reminiscent of grandmother's kitchen, wafts through the air, mingling with the nostalgic tunes playing softly in the background. The Chicken Kathi Roll, bursting with authentic flavors, takes you back to the bustling streets of the motherland, where street vendors served up culinary delights with a side of warm smiles. But it's not just the flavors that enchant; it's the camaraderie that blooms here. As you sit in the cozy corners of A Cup of Chai, you'll witness strangers becoming friends, weaving stories of their own as they clasp steaming mugs of chai in their hands. The cafe, a sanctuary for all, is where connections are forged, and the magic of human interaction is rekindled. Pravy's bold decision to follow her heart and create this haven is nothing short of inspiring. A Cup of Chai stands not only as a testament to her dreams but also as a tribute to the beauty of embracing one's roots and the nostalgia it brings. The journey from a conventional life to a chai-filled dreamland echoes the tales of courage and determination that have shaped many a legend. So, my dear wanderer, if you yearn to step into a time where moments were savored, and chai was more than just a beverage—it was an emotion—then A Cup of Chai awaits you with open arms. Let the memories wash over you as you bask in the cozy ambiance, relishing every sip and savoring every bite. For in this sanctuary, time slows, and nostalgia dances gracefully with the present, creating an experience that will linger in your heart for years to come.

I was really excited about trying this place but I literally ended up throwing out my "masala chai" and "Nimbu Pani" after a sip each. The chai was little more than spiced milk and the lemonade tasted like a lemon squeezed to death along with juice leftover from canned pineapples. The ambience was lovely as was the service and it's five stars on both fronts. The place definitely smells amazing. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to make me want to revisit

I recently had the pleasure of visiting A Cup of Chai in Indianapolis, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This charming little establishment quickly won me over with its cozy ambiance and inviting aroma of spices wafting through the air.

For my meal, I decided to try their much-acclaimed Chicken Kati Rolls, and they did not disappoint. The rolls were bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of tender, well-seasoned chicken, fresh vegetables, and a delectable sauce that left a memorable taste in my mouth. The flatbread used for the rolls was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings together.

But the true star of the show was their chai! As a chai enthusiast, I have high standards for this traditional Indian beverage, and A Cup of Chai exceeded them all. The chai was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The blend of spices was spot on, making it a comforting and soul-warming treat that I couldn't get enough of.

The service at A Cup of Chai was also commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Furthermore, the ambiance of the place was perfect for a relaxed meal or catching up with friends over a cup of chai. The decor had a touch of Indian aesthetics, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that transported me to another place altogether. I left with a satisfied stomach and a...

The cutest little chai shop! I want to come back again already! We got the cardamom chai (hot), brown sugar cinnamon chai (iced), paneer kati roll, bun maska, malai parantha, and a mango lassi. The cardamom chai was wonderful, not particularly strong and i got it sweetened so it was just a nice warm morning drink. I didn’t like the brown sugar cinnamon chai as much, i wish i could’ve tasted more spice but it seemed to be more like what you would get at starbucks or another chain, which might be what the goal was. Again, tasted good, just not my personal favorite! The bun maska was basically just a burger bun with butter and some kind of gelatin candy. I will absolutely be getting the malai parantha again cause it was so good! Reminded me of a crepe, but with some cinnamon and sweet drizzle on top. The planned kati roll was good, a little spicy and very flavorful. Now I’ve always wanted to try a mango lassi, and they didn’t disappoint! Like the best mango smoothie you’ve ever had, not too sweet and very mango-y. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of...
