The Rooftop Garden — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My first time going right? So I googled this place & it said nothing about a specific dress code.So my family members and I decided to go.I would say a pricey designer tshirt was appropriate being its summer and hot! So upon arriving there I was told that I could not go in,by a really big & tall rude!! Guy with dread locks.So when I showed him the description I had screenshot he told me he didn't care about what I had to show him! Along with the even contacts & their emails!! My thing is, Why promote a venue as one thing on line and when the crowd shows up have a whole list of rules!? Why not put the requirements on line to let the people have a choice & know what this venue requires for entry.I will not be going back ever!! And would not recommend anyone to visit this place! Its obvious who ever is running the place doesn't monitor the security guards, to the fact that they can pick and choose who they let in! Really makes Indy look bad to visitors from other states! Disappointed!!very!! Doesn't deserve...

We went there early in the evening of Friday, July 1st before it was busy at all. I walked up to the empty bar with 4 bartenders on the other side and was blatantly ignored. The shortest female bartender, who was especially rude and unwelcoming) made a tangible effort to not look at me and turned around to do something else after finishing a conversation with a different bartender right in front of me.

When I asked "are you guys serving drinks today?" the rude aforementioned girl turned around and gave me a disgusting look. Sorry I'm inconveniencing you by patronizing your bar, lady.

Finally someone came over and helped me out. Big thanks to whoever that guy is. Two-thumbs down to...

Would have given no star but not an option! Took a cab from downtown Indianapolis with my wife to check this place out. Got to the hostess stand to find a very confused mess of a waitress? Hostess? Not sure! Before even greeting us she stated she was very overwhelmed and acted like we were an inconveince to her. Anyways, we got seated and sat as workers walked by and ignored us for over 10 minutes! Not one word from any of them! We would have loved to stay and have a few drinks, as it did offer a pretty awesome view of the city, however i felt as though this place didn't care that we were even there! Wasted $12 there and back tho! Having a great drink and awesome service at Tastings in downtown now thanks...
