I’m a trainer at Crunch Fitness on Keystone, and I come here to Bibibop often. I am always pleased with the food, the service, and the food. Did I mention the food is good?
The manager, Shim, is very involved and usually the one to greet me and prepare the food. She is always busy and works hard because I come during the peak lunch hour, but food always comes with a smile.
The options are delicious, and there are many to choose from. For the base of your bowl, choose from a super-greens salad, white rice, purple rice, or glass noodles in traditional Korean style.
Hot toppings include black beans, baked potatoes, sesame-roasted broccoli, and bean sprouts. You can have all of them or none of them, up to you!
There are lots of cold toppings, so you can choose more familiar flavors like carrots, corn, cucumbers, and eggs, OR you can try the more Korean flavors and have kimchi and purple cabbage as well.
For proteins, there is chicken, spicy chicken, steak, Korean BBQ (which is my favorite), and tofu as a vegetarian option. They use a measuring cup so you won’t get a tiny amount, but a standard size every time.
There are some delicious sauces too. I have only tried the Gochujang sauce, which is sweet and spicy and definitely has a kick to it, so watch out. Some of my coworkers love the Yum-Yum sauce, which is a mayo-based savory sauce.
Come try it out and experience for yourself. thank you Bibibop for...
Read moreI eat at the 82nd st BIBIBOP multiple times per month and I absolutely love the vegan menu options as well as the other proteins when I'm feeling more carnorvious. Everything there is gluten free - although I'm a big gluten fan. The fresh baked, gluten-free chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies are quite yummy too (you'd never know they were gluten free).
The freshly prepared ingredients are always perfect, the portions are good without me having to beg for more, and this type of food is great for take-out or dine in.
What really makes BIBIBOP great and sets this location apart from the others is the management and staff. They seem engaged, professional, they work well as a team, and they're incredibly fast, well trained and deliver a consistently and extraordinarily exceptional customer experience from the moment I walk.
The staff appears to genuinely care about their customers. Plus they all seem to be a happy team - even when the place is very crowded and the pace seems quite hectic.
The way the space was built - you can have open tables or booths that are comfortable but it can get a bit noisy during peak times. That said, tables turn fast and there's always plenty of room when I go.
I just wanted to thank them by writing this review to spread the word about how much I enjoy going to this fantastic location for a quick bite, a fun date with my wife, or to share a delicious meal with a big...
Read moreUsually of my favorite restaurants. It still is because of the general concept of a healthy alternative to other food chains, the freedom to customize one's dish with a good selection of bases and toppings, the restaurant stays consistently clean and the atmosphere is unique. However, at times the staff seems to get annoyed when customers take what they feel is too much time choosing add-ons to their dish. Not everyone is accustomed to the setup and options the restaurant offers. The staff tried to hide their annoyance behind a semi-pleasant attitude, but the negative vibe is still present. Also, when one asks questions about the options available, the staff at times give short answers. It's like they just want to keep the line moving. I've noticed this a few times when visiting. It even happened when I introduced family members to the restaurant for the first time. I think the staff at all locations should keep patience in mind when serving customers because not all customers are "regular". Some are new or rarely visit. So, the staff should always be eager to educate their customers about options they offer and let the customers take their time deciding on their customizations without the vibe of "come on let's go already." I would like to also add that various locations could do a little better with cleaning the...
