Great deals- you can dig through the endless racks- but that is half the charm of discount shopping when looking for a quality bargain. I love NR, don't get me wrong, but with a lot of top stores, they have lowered their quality of staff support- so all their ideas like "Ask a team member is green" when you can't find your size- is a really nice idea- but NR is only fooling themselves. Most employees are over worked and you can see the weary smile of the team member trying to help you when she really hopes you won't press her to do more for you, shes got way too much to do as it is. Years back stores, even not so high end ones, used to pay for "shoppers" to measure the degree of customer service- all while taking into consideration the situation the subject- "team member "was perceived to be under. Like many things today corporations believe in magical thinking- its all white wash, bate and switch. Customers suffer and remember ultimately the fake customer service they are promised and can't get due to under staffing and over burdening employees. In the end their profits take the hit along with their...
Read moreLimited selection of shoes. I found a pair of clearly worn, grass stained shoes sitting in a box on the shelf. I took them to the front to tell the staff and I stood at the counter for 5 minutes, and no one acknowledged me. I finally spoke up, and showed the employees and no one even responded to me as I handed them the shoes. They couldn’t have cared any less. We shopped for an hour. Not a single employee acknowledged myself or anyone around me the entire time. As a state wide district manager myself, that culture wouldn’t fly. Bad staff culture. There are fast food places with much better retail staff culture. There are employees working the check out counter with AirPods in… Embarrassing
Selection of shoes used to be awesome. Now it’s extremely slim pickings, and most of them don’t seem like they’re a great deal, or even relevant to style. Sizes were all over the place, certainly not in their place.
Bad staff culture… Bad selection…...
Read moreI’ll never step foot in this store because of how one of the managers acted coming in. My family was heading to a restaurant in this strip mall and driving through the parking lot. We came to a stop sign just in front of Buy Buy Baby. There were handful of people waiting to get into the store and a couple family crossing the pedestrian walkway in front of our car. All of a sudden a car speeds past us on the left and blows through the stop sign, cutting off the families walking. I couldn’t believe it, but as I watched the car park, a guy with a bald/shaved head and a floral shirt gets out and walks to the side door of Nordstrom Rack, enters a code, and walks in. This idiot worked there, and being that it was right around 11 and there was a line at the door, he was clearly late for work so his solution was to put multiple families in danger. Grade...
