I’ve always appreciated shopping at LL Bean because they consistently carry my size and offer high-quality clothing that lasts. It’s one of the few places where I can count on finding well-made, comfortable pieces that fit just right.
That said, I’ve noticed a recurring issue with the in-store customer service experience. Almost every time I walk in, I’m asked, “Have you ever shopped here before?”—which feels a bit impersonal and repetitive, especially for a returning customer. Additionally, instead of simply asking me to enter my phone number for rewards (which is quick and standard at many retailers), I’m often asked for my last name. While some may not see this as a big deal, to me it feels a bit overbearing and unnecessary.

And for my first purchase they gave me 20% off my purchase. It was fast and easy at check out and woman at the counter was incredibly friendly. Not only do they have some of the great looking stuff for women - they really sell high quality products. It got me such great smiles from my wife I intend to take her back on a regular basis. Fortunately, you can check the stock online in advance, so be sure to use this feature before visiting. Some stores have fitting rooms that are locked, but this one does not, making it convenient to try on clothes.
