Because I knew I would be extremely busy and tend to not eat when my time is limited, on Thursday, August 7, I decided before heading to my Food Pantry, I saw that CFA had reopened after remodeling. I've never had a negative experience at this level.
I decided to quickly buy a breakfast sandwich and a Cobb Salad for later when I could get a break from planning for our Annual Back-to-School Community Resource Day that was Saturday. I initially went through your Drive-thru, that was I believe my first time ever ordering though your App. I ate the breakfast Sandwich, but put my salad in my pantry's fridge, still in the bag I had tied close.
Late that afternoon, I decided to try to eat some of the salad. Before I could completely open the bag, a fly suddenly is around. I pull the salad out of the bag, turn my head to get my dressing, but thought I saw something move. TWO more flies are actually still in the salad!! I left the lid on and put scotch tape over the 4 open ventilation slits in your lid so the others did not fly out into my environment. I managed to kill the one that was "free". Truly annoyed and at the thought that I now have to sacrifice more of my time and exhaustion to return to that CFA on 86th. Much later that evening, I sacrifice and go back there to go inside, with the sealed salad in the re-tied bag. They were not busy inside, I ask for the Manager, have him move down so no one would overhear so I wouldn't ruin their food experience. I tell him about the fly and suggests he doesn't take the lid off inside... he takes the bag, no compassion, no apology, just orders another salad. I say, why would I want another one, especially today! I don't know how your salads are prepared back there. Nothing from the Mgr., says something to them in Spanish, I believe, then just passes me another bag with the same salad and says, "I put a cookie in there for you for your inconvenience" and walks away. 😳😡 I can't eat that knowing I just had live flies in the first one. I didn't ask for a cookie! He didn't even ask how can they make this up, or as a "christian" company be pleasant enough to even make an excuse or even see if I wanted a refund. Customer Service with compassion goes a long way. Do Better, Care.
So, with anyone else, this would have already been over every sm platform by now with you named. Oh that replacement salad, I threw away. It is hard for me to believe that the staff did not see those flies moving around in it. This wouldn't let me post the video I took, but I still have...
Read moreOver the last 3 weeks, I have become very disappointed in the service in the morning. Their hand scanner never works, I must provide my mobile pay information and then my rewards number. Fine, no biggie. Today was last straw, already -16 temp out, guess what, hand scanner not working. I am yelling my order, b/c girl could not hear me, b/c system is not working - okay - fine. Then my order was wrong, hand scanner not working and rude customer service (that I know I am getting at another fast food place, not Chick-fil-A.) I had to remain cold with my window down b/c computer system not working, okay, fine. Then, I told them I was going to roll up my window b/c I was cold. The girl yells at me that, “my system is not working b/c night shift did not charge the hand scanner.” And “I just need to wait, and I need to keep my window down.” I told her that “I am cold, and you have my phone with all my payment, food order and rewards info. What other information do you need from me to finish out my order?” No answer. I sat in the cold with my window down, in -16 temp. Then, she told me that she would not add my rewards and that I will need to pay out of pocket; she was becoming aggressive and very unlike Chick-fil-A customer service. The guy, that I have only seen couple times, somehow, got the system to take my mobile pay info. I take my items from him and advised that I would be writing strong review and that I would not be back, not b/c of him, but b/c of the young lady with glasses and dark colored hair. I very sad b/c this new team are not friendly, nor do they seem to care. I go to Chick-fli-A b/c of their great customer service and my order right 99% of time, fast and friendly. I am sad by this new am team. You need to rethink this team. They do not know what is going on, my order is always missing something, computer system/hand scanner, and/or bad customer service....
Read moreI have never had one complaint about chick-fil-a. They never disappointment until now! While attempting to enjoy a cobb salad I came across LOTS of hard CORE pieces of lettuce. There was much more stalk than leaves. After ending up with hardly any lettuce, I decided to call the restaurant. Angelo informed me that they now use pre-packaged lettuce. OK...no more cobb salad for me! He offered to prepare another salad and remove the stalks, which I thought was nice of him. I passed on that, but accepted the refund. Shortly after, while eating the mac & cheese my husband discovered a PIECE OF PAPER with yellow trim inside his mouth. OK...time to return to the restaurant. I spoke with ANGELO and told him what we found. He asked if we wanted a replacement. No apology what so ever! He did tell me I would not receive a refund since I decided to come back to the store. WHAT???? Damn our inconvenience and what we found in the mac. He also said he would remake my salad but could not guarantee anybody else would do that again. Where is the wonderful chick-fil-a hospitality I'm use to?!? Apparently he did not receive the proper training. I was later contacted by a REAL manager who made it right. I will not be visiting the Pyramids...
