Sales Associate #7740oa, First Initial "N"...BE CAREFUL
Have been an avid customer of Rainbow Clothing Store for years, and have ALWAYS had a wonderful customer focused experience with a vast array of the latest top fashion trends. Unfortunately on July 15 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a trip to the location on West 86th Street to do some simple shopping to get ready for back to college and a simple return turned into a HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE. After myself and daughter picked out a few items and headed to the cash register to check out and indicate we were going to do an exchange. We were greeted by a woman identified as Associate Number: 7740oa, first Initial "N." At the advisement to the female associate we wanted to do an exchange she threw the bag of returned items upside down in a forceful manner, never attempted to say hello or provide any type of common courtesy greeting or acknowledgement. As any human being at this point in time would think this is pretty peculiar, not sure why being exhibited such negative demeanor and throwing the bag and items to be returned. I then advised the sales associate #7740oa, first Initial "N" the receipt was in the bag. She then started the exchange and advised there were a pair of pants "She was not going to exchange," I then reiterated to all items bring returned had tags and were within the Rainbow Clothing Store return policy deadline, and I would need to return today. The sales associate #7740oa then again advised "she was not going to return" I then again showed her the pants that has 3 visible tags still attached, and confirmed from the receipt with the exchange multiple pairs of pants were brought previously from the purchase, and the former sales associate specifically advised she would scan another pair of pants, and at that point I clarified with the sales associate from the original purchase that would not be an issue, and was confirmed it would not be. As trying to explain this detail to the current sales associate #7740oa first Intial "N" she multiple times again stated "she was not going to return them, and I would have to go back to the original store of purchase because it's not her fault the cashier should have noted what she did on the original receipt" she spoke in such a loud, yelling, and rude tone. At this point other customers/ witnesses to this situation began to voice there cornern of the way that sales associate #7740oa, first "N" was handling the situation and were also puzzled as you could see all the tags visibly attached. At this point I as a customer, had complied with Rainbow Company policy, with bring the items to return, with tags and receipt, however, was advised I must return to the original store to return the item purchase (which is not a policy of Rainbow Clothing Store) and it was also apparently it was my fault as the customer, because the original sales associate failed to make a notation to the receipt. All of this lead to the sales associate #7740oa first Initial "N" escalating a situation that should have been just a simple exchange. Sales associate #7740oa first Initial "N" then during the exchange purposefully then acted as if she returned the other five items that were being exchanged, but truly only rang in 3 items. I then advised her that since she had failed to have any type of common courtesy throughout this entire transaction, she is now either incompetent, or trying to exhibit additional lack of doing the right steps with this transaction. At that point I indicated I know there was one item that you weren't going to exchange simply because you did not want to, however, you will make sure to return the 5 other items. Sales associate #7740oa then failed to give me back the original receipt after the transaction was completed and I this was realized after leaving the store. After going on what was directly told by sales associate #7740oa first initial "N" I would have to return to the original store to to a return of the one item "she was not going to return" I knew it would be required I receive my...
Read moreThe costumer service is really bad and rude. I went to shopping yesterday 11/ 07/16 in the evening at 6:00 pm and there were two ladies working. They never said a welcoming word or attitude. They were talking with each other and when I needed to try on some garments, I said to one of the ladies: "excuse me, I need to try these on please". The lady never turned to look at me, neither to say at least "one moment please, or hold on please". No, she never said anything to me like she didn't like my presence there. She just said out loud to her peer "hey, do you have the keys for the dressing room? ... The other lady came over and opened the dressing room door for me and said that I could try on three garments at a time. I said OK. When I got out of the dressing room, I checked for more stuff all over the store. The ladies never ask me if I needed help at all. These impolite ladies started to talk about other clients in the past and just complaining about the costumers and bad experiences they have had in the past serving customers. They were also talking about hispanic latin people and saying that they don't understand Latin tastes and the way they dress up. That was rude because I'm latin and I was there listening their foolishness.... When I was on the front desk to pay, the lady never asked me if I found everything ok. She just told me how much I had to pay. When she gave me the bag with the garments, she just said "Thanks" with a expression on her face like "You finally get out of here". I said Thanks, and Good night! and she didn't said anything else. I felt like I was unwelcome all the time I was shopping in that store. I don' know why they work serving customers when they don't have the vocation to serve others! Worst...

I then had my college student daughter go back into the Rainbow Clothing Store to obtain my original customer receipt. My daughter obtained our original receipt and attempted to leave the Rainbow Clothing Store. As my daughter walked out of the Rainbow Clothing Store, sales associate #7740oa's first Initial "N" began being violently forceful and chased my daughter, while my daughter, screamed "Do not touch me," and was terrified my daughter also said other customers feared for her safety and began to record this highly volatile situation and voiced concern. Sales Associate #7740oa first Initial "N" then locked the door, and locked my daughter in the Rainbow Clothing Store, as my daughter was trying to exit the Rainbow Clothing Store. The sales associate #7740oa first Initial "N" then from the back of my daughter physically assaulted her very forcefully and grabbed and squeezed her wrist violently, and then snatched and balled up the (my daughter's and myself) original sales receipt and the sales associate #7740oa first Initial "N" yelled, "This is my receipt." My daughter called me, at this point and told me she was locked in the store by sales associate #7740oa and that she had physically assaulted her.
