I called to place an order, they don't do that, you have to order online or in store so since I was close by I drove in. Store was empty, surprisingly. I read a few reviews and saw a bad one for the hot honey wings and crab fries, I figured there's no way that could get messed up lol so I tried it. Now my complaint is, the wings and fry combo says 14.50, but then there's a mysterious $8 extra you end up paying. The crab is also apart of the loaded fry section so unless the crab is 6.50 extra which they should explain I think it should still be 14.50. However the food was delicious, even though they did it was a 10-15 minute wait, they didn't motion for me to come get my food or nothing just put it in the hotbox ,so I didn't taste it fresh or the grease like I wanted to but nonetheless it was really good. Hot honey is actually not hot at all for anyone wondering, and they do use Real crab meat. The tenders are actually pretty large, I was worried I would be enough, but they are breast pieces cut up so really juicy thick pieces, my pics didn't do any favors. This meal is something id have liked to sat down and ate at a dine in establishment but I settled for my car. Waiting until you get home might be a bad idea if you really wanna get the flavor factor, but I still have leftovers so I don't know if it will taste better or worse later. Fries are fresh cut like Penn Station, good choice. And the ranch dressing is like a Chipotle ranch or something, really paired well with the tenders although the sauce was enough, probably could have ordered extra sauce. I got the drenched and breaded, the tenders, and for the cost it should have come with a drink. Luckily I had a spare drink in the car to was it down. Food wasn't too salty like the other review suggested but crab meat itself has its own unique flavor and she might have just had too much of it. Some have intoleraces to certain foods, I will revisit my food later as there was plenty for my buck. Thanks for the experience. Will definitely try something new on the menu ,it was difficult choosing with so many...
Read moreDecided to make the visit because they were highly recommended for their crab fries and wings. Upon arrival, the entire waiting area was full. We were asked to wait a few minutes to place an order to go. We ordered the bone in wing combo teriyaki with fries and a boneless spicy honey combo with crab fries. We were given a 20 minute wait time. Our total was $45 without drinks. We waited in the car for 20 minutes as the parking lot was full of people waiting as well. After the 20 minutes we came in to check the status of our order and they said they are running about 40 minutes to an hour longer. I was disappointed in this as I watched the entire restaurant empty out around me, including people who had shown after I did. While we waited in the lobby, a total of three different orders were brought back for incorrect food. I mentioned that we would inspect our food before we left the restaurant. After 1 hour, our food was finally done as we were the last ones in the building 20 minutes after closing time. We looked at the food but you could not exactly tell what type of fries were with it because of the nature of the presentation. Once we arrived at our destination, an hour and a half later, we were highly unsatisfied with the quality of the chicken, being how dry it was. The crab fries that were ordered with the spicy honey wings were not crab fries they were chicken bacon Buffalo. And the other fries that were ordered with the teriyaki combo ended up being the crab fries. The crab fries had a disgustingly fishy taste. The fries beneath both orders were very dark and looked like they had been cooked twice over. In the containers, there is no separation, so all of the sauce from the chicken had run into the fries mixing the flavors into some weird concoction. We did try it based upon someone else's opinion, but definitely will not return! The other concerning thing to note is that there were no food safety permits or board of health inspection paperwork on the walls and no one was wearing hair nets even though they had long hair down to...
Read moreI ordered online and drove to the new location downtown. I go in, give my order# and my name to the “owner” (his words) and he tells me that he has given my order to someone else. He said someone with the exact same 9 item order as my family came in and he gave them the food. Then he immediately informs me that he has no plans on making the food again and is more worried about me disputing the charge than making it right. I leave to call my family as he makes no mention of a refund (because that would have cleared everything up). After a few minutes I go back in and let him know he needs to do something! He lets me know again he’s not remaking the food. I tell him he’s going to have to eat the cost. There’s only two options and he’s already said he’s not making the food. He then offers me his card (which I’m still baffled by because what is the card for)? And that’s when it got louder. In the midst of me getting louder (because maybe he didn’t hear when I said he had to do something) he must have said that he was going to refund me (why in the hell did that take so long?). However, it was an online order so he couldn’t just give me my money back right there. I asked for proof and the “owner” had no clue how to show me proof. I walk back out because now there’s customers and the threat to call the police came up. So I waited outside for my brother and sister to get there because I clearly wasn’t getting anywhere with him. He leaves and tells another worker to call the police if we come in there (well that was inevitable because you still haven’t given me anything to show my $126.13 was refunded)! I tried to support and I wish them the best but just not with my money! When I get my refund, you won’t have to worry about my...
