Came this afternoon 8/11 with my two kids .. my oldest order a quesadilla - pretty simple came cut in 3 pieces and a scoop of rice - A kid took my order first - so order a horchata, jarrito and I order a coconut and sangria (that was good) then a lady with a rush attitude asked if we were ready - I ask my son to started and while he was looking for what he wanted the lady for the second time asked if we were ready - so I started ordering - from the menu my youngest got an order of sopes (they stated in the menu that are made there) and I got a torta ahogada - “spicy” The drinks were brought by the lady again and told me that they were working on mine (alcoholic) she asked if we needed it appetizers which we declined cause my kids don’t like cheese or guacamole- and I knew I wasn’t going to eat them by myself - when they brought the order the sopes I was telling my son .. the menu said they were made here and you can def tell these are the ones you buy and just fry - at that time this lady came and brought my torta ahogada and prob heard my comment - after that I was ignored for the rest of the time there - I could see the ppl from the kitchen whispering and looking at me - the torta was ok - even tho you can tell my meat was kind of burn - and I didn’t like the fact the sauce was in my plate - it was not bad but I had eat better ones - Also, didn’t like the fact they have chunks of meat and queso instead of shredded meat and grated cheese for the sopes - I was not offered napkins and I even tho I wanted to try the churros - I ended up leaving and not ordering anymore as they brought me the check and we just ended up paying and leaving. Def not a good experience- Sometimes as Hispanics these type of restaurants are just for the American people as they really have know idea of our food but don’t take care of their own ppl. I did love the decoration

I got 2 chicken tacos, & the nachos come with steak or chicken I chose steak, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, & queso. What I didn’t like about the nachos is they should use real beans instead of refried beans & I didn’t like the queso I think you should ask for it on the side and put the queso on yourself. I also got the 2 chicken tacos I feel like the chicken was dry in my opinion. My wife she got 2 elote (street corn), quesadilla, she loved it, she gave the food a 4.7 out 5. They do offer a salsa bar where you serve yourself all different kinds of salsa. It wasn’t a bad experience at all for our first time just thought my food could’ve been a little better in what I detailed in my review. Thank you. Side note I tried to come here and it said close at 9pm and sadly when I walk-in they said sorry we’re close when it wasn’t even 9pm…I truly don’t like when restaurants say a time time they close and they close earlier…it was people sitting and eating why couldn’t you allow me to sit and eat….if a customer comes in before 9pm you should SERVE them.

So it started of meh, walked in with a group of 6 and was kind of dismissed and told to go wait outside for 20 minutes if we want to eat. We did, came in and was seated pretty quickly, got our drink order and food order taken fairly quick, and that's when it started to go down hill. Everyone gets their food 5 minutes apart from each other except the last kid, he had to wait about 15 minutes because they forgot about him. The food was great, so props to the kitchen for that. Refills became sparse, napkins, and general services were no longer existent after we all got our food. Once we finished and asked for to go boxes and the check, we waited 45 minutes along with 4 other tables to be acknowledged to get checks, and another 20 to actually make payment. There was a child at the bar, the bartender was drunk, not typical bartender drunk but very obvious messy drunk. The service was horrible, food was good, all in all we was stuck there for 3 hours from start to finish.
