Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

It's Jimmy John's. But I will never, ever place an order for delivery ever again. It's true that I live literally less than 150 yards from the store. But when I order delivery, I expect delivery. By which I mean, a knock at the door and being greeted by an individual with food that I purchased in their hands. What I don't mean is paying 170%, giving a 50% tip and being charged a mandatory delivery fee, only to be CALLED ON MY PHONE THAT THE DELIVERY GUY IS WAITING IN THE PARKING LOT AND COME GET IT. I walked literally more than halfway to the store, walking to the parking lot, where I wandered for over two minutes before the guy got out of his vehicle and handed me my food with a look of mixed boredom, contempt, and impatience. I was irate but whatever, that was my mistake. I thought that delivery would be easier, since I was sick and really didn't want to leave my home. Never again. My final visit I walked in to the store and it was fine but again not what I have come to expect. I was the only one there and two workers were there. I had my food... In a few minutes, when they felt like getting around to it. A every other store I have ever visited, it is very common for them to be shoving the wrapped sandwich into my hands while I'm still trying to shove the change into my wallet. With only two workers there, I can understand a bit, but I don't know. I had to walk over to the soda machine out of embarrassment because they were just standing there talking after I had paid. I was embarrassed for them on their behalf. This store just gives an aura of not caring. I feel like this is a first world problem but I am paying for a service that I have some level of expectation for and that expectation is not being met. They already have over $50 of my dollars, so I'm just going to choose to not give...

Ordered four sandwiches two with everything on them and two with just meat and cheese. They delivered four sandwiches without the cheese. I called to request replacement and was put on hold and left on hold immediately. I called back and went through without a hold needed surprise surprise and after explaining the issue was placed on hold again and left. I called again and was told that they all of a sudden didn't have a driver until two hours later or they would credit me for the cheese. I then stated that they could make the sandwiches and we would pick them up at which point the person who claimed to be the manager got very rude and told us to bring the other sandwiches to confirm that they were wrong. At that point since my son was already heading there and we would have to burn even more gas to come back and get the old food after spending $5 for delivery we cut our losses. This is not the first time they have done this and we were already skeptical about ordering from them as the last time we ordered the delivery driver added a $10 tip after leaving over drafting my credit card. This is not a good Jimmy John's to visit and even worse to order delivery from if you want your order correct and do not want to be scammed...

I’ve ate at Jimmy John’s more times than I could ever count. Ordered from this store before with zero issues. Tonight I’ve been waiting almost 45 minutes for my food. I’ve wasted my entire lunch break. I stood outside waiting for it for over 30 minutes because the app said my driver was in route. I’m sure an employee likely made it look in route as to not make themselves like bad. I called the store after standing out in 35° and they said he just left with ALL orders. So not only am I waiting on him to get here who knows how many stops he has before me. Just for reference I’m less than 5 minutes from the store.

Update: about an hour after ordering my food finally showed and my “ultimate porker” which is bacon, ham, tomato, and lettuce showed up as turkey and tomato’s.

Here we are a month later decided to give this store another shot. Waited 45 minutes for my food. Got a call from the driver he’d be here in 5 minutes. He showed up 25 minutes later so over an hour to get my food. Only for it to have almost nothing on it. No lettuce barely any meet. Basically a loaf of bread. Store manager wouldn’t even talk to me hung up 3 times then...
