I came here twice to order a meal for my family which included several fish platters and shrimp. I order two platters and the young lady over the head phone was willing to give me the two fish and shrimp platter I had already ordered, however I was not finish. I continued ordering as I could sense her rushing me as she sustained her questioning. āIs that all for you?ā I said no maāam as I continued. The young lady interrupted my order and stated she did not have the fish and shrimp platters. I asked her how after mentioning she had them for my orders. She said she did not have the original shrimp. I asked her how, when the original shrimp is fried shrimp. She says, āOh I thought you asked for grilled.ā I said, ā No I asked for the platter with the knowledge of it being fried.ā Then her head set is silent for 10 second. Later a man came over the head phone and mentioned they did have shrimp but the shrimp wasnāt thawed out. I told him I would wait. He says it wouldnāt be thawed today. This was confusing to me after so many different things were said pertaining to the shrimp. First they had the shrimp, then they only had fried which is what I wanted. Then they did not have thawed shrimp The entire day since 1000- 1930. This made me very uncomfortable with ever ordering from here again. The fish was unedible it was so overcooked It was as crisp like batter all the way through. The very next time I ordered the same thing but my sides we're wrong and short hush puppies. After 2 bad experience's in a row you might ask why try a third time. I love Long John Silver's! I've enjoyed there food since my parents took me there the very first time 40 years ago. So my 3rd trip in a row same order my wife picked up for me. I would have checked at the window if I had been there after the previous two tripsbut my wife rightfully didn't suspect anything the order wrong again and uneddible! Looked like the fish came frome the bottom of a dirty fryer burnt little pieces of batter all over and the fish was stuck together and split open and on top of that no kripys in the box. The big burly looking guy who looks/acted as though he was the manager; was wiping his hands on his pants and picking up my food. When they finally brought my food after waiting 20 minutes, I asked him about what I saw through the drive thru window. He tells me that they donāt have to wear gloves in Indiana when working with the public food. I asked for my receipt to be told the receipt machine wasnāt working. I informed them that I was calling The Board Heath to inquiry why they donāt have to wear gloves or hair covering.
