On the morning of 01/20/25, I had an extremely disappointing experience with the management and staff. I attempted to use my accrued points on the mobile app to order a sandwich at 10:45 a.m. inside the store. Unfortunately, the app wouldn’t allow me to order lunch, while the store had already stopped serving breakfast at 10:30 a.m. This left me unable to place an order altogether. I didn't have money so I was relying on using my points which I have earned through purchases in the past.
To address my frustration, the cashier offered to give me a sandwich for free as a way to make things right. However, an hour later, I discovered a charge of $11.75 on my bank account, one of the workers used the card information I had saved on the McDonald’s app! Despite only receiving a Quarter Pounder sandwich in the store, I was charged for a full large meal and an apple pie—items I never received.
I strongly believe an employee intentionally scammed me by charging for items I didn’t order or get, possibly consuming the food themselves. This is incredibly unethical and unprofessional. I had planned to use points, not my money, and now I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I will be reporting this issue to the Better...
Read moreThis McDonalds doesn't train its cashiers correctly and they overcharge constantly. My girlfriend and I occasionally stop in on the way to work to get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and a large diet coke. Currently, that combination is $3.50, but nearly every time we go, they ring up the items separately and overcharge us by a dollar. Consequently, I have gotten into the habit of telling them when the overcharge so they correct it at the point of service. Today, however, not only were we charged incorrectly, but when told the correct price, the cashier said he would correct it, but didn't, so when we paid, we were charged incorrectly (again).
Another time we went, I ordered 2 large diet cokes ($2.00) and the girl at the window tried to give us two medium diet cokes ($2.00). When I pointed out the mistake, the told me that I "paid for mediums". They're the same price, genuis, so what benefit would there be to me ordering a smaller size?
This problem is an epidemic at this particular McDonalds, and if we didn't live less than a mile from it, we'd never have gone there as many times as we did. And we won't be going again. One of the worst run fast food restaurants I have...
Read moreI am 52 years old and have fond memories of going to McDonald's as a child, teenager, and adult. However, this McDonald's on Pendleton Pike in the 46236 area code is the ABSOLUTE WORST fast food establishment I've ever patronized. It is just horrible ... slow service, unprofessional, no thank you's are given to customers, etc. I don't know if a fast food establishment can get any worse. My daughter inadvertently left her Debit/Credit card on the counter. She asked the manager if someone had turned it in, he just replied "nope" and walked away...no "let me check to see if it's been turned in, let me get your information in case someone does turn it in"...JUST NOTHING. It is imperative that the McDonald's Corporate office get involved and place this particular franchise on probation with the possibility of closing this establishment. Hopefully, that will force the owner of this franchise to "clean house" and force professionalism, common courtesy, and great customer service. If after probation there's not a substantial improvement, the establishment should be closed. The rating is a 1 because 0 was...
