Margarita Factory Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Lawrence

WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!! We had 3 adults and a 1 year old in our party. We walk in and are greeted by no one. Eventually a lady walks up and tells us to sit where we want. So we choose a booth, and sit down. A man comes over a few minutes alter and takes our drink order. We receive our drinks quickly. We look at the menus and wait for his return. 20 minutes later he still hasn't returned to take our order. We are getting ready to walk out when he finally comes back. So he takes my son's order and his girlfriend's order and completely ignores me. He walks away from the table and I said "excuse me, what about me?" He gets an attitude, laughs, shrugs his shoulders and then proceeds to take my order. He returns about 10-15 minutes later with their food. Not mine and not the baby's. 5 minutes after that I finally get my food. WHERE IS THE BABY'S FOOD? He never returns to the table. Another 10 minutes later, another server sees we are pissed and walks over to see if we need refills. We ask where the baby's food is. You don't serve a portion of the table and not the rest then totally forget a toddlers food. He gets refills and brings the food. By this time it's cold. We don't see anyone again the rest of the dinner. We had to get up and go ask for boxes and the check. My son paid in cash. So the server takes his money and disappears again. We finally get up and go to the front to get his change and left

This is the second WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. I can't put into words how bad it was. If I could give zero stars I would. The food wasn't bad but the service and overall experience was so horrible and disgusting, they could have the world's best food and it's still not worth the visit. At this point, I hope they go out of business it was so bad.

Don't waste your time or your money and certainly don't bring children here. They may never get to eat.

I see in every other negative review, they make excuses as to why the service or food was bad. They have even gone so far as to call the customer a liar. This is not a place to go have a nice dinner. Pass this one by. There are plenty of other delicious Mexican restaurants where the servers will actually serve you with a friendly smile.

Mi Amor and I came on a whim as we needed some time to kill. I had been hearing about this spot but never had the chance to go, sooooo glad we did. We came in and it as fairly busy although not full. We were greeted and seated with 5 minutes, which was definitely lucky for us because I did notice people after us had longer wait times. It was off after sitting because while they did being us chips and salsa immediately we did not get any water or a drink order placed until about 10 minutes later. I ordered a margarita flight, which I highly recommend as it gives you a chance to try the different flavors. I had a lime on the rocks and then a frozen mango and piña colada. Hands down the frozen mango was the best, but the pina colada was a close second. For food I ordered a chicken fajita taco salad and it was plenty of food! The shell boat was huge, crisped to perfection and filled all around. The place it a little on the louder side but I think it’s just because of the type of building they are in. Whether you are dining in or ordering out you do need to have some time available as they do appear under staffed and wait times are longer. Is it worth the wait, it definitely was for dining in. I also noticed on the menu you can place a to go drink order, so needless to say I will be going back to...

Food was great and the inside was decorated beautifully, the music matched, I would definitely go back for the food but unfortunately for takeout only. I arrived and waited at least 30 mins before even being greeted. The waitress came over and apologized for not knowing they sat her. (Okay fine) The drinks however took another 25 mins we ordered 2 kids lemonades and 2 Pina coladas (one was a virgin) and a Michelada. We waited a while for the food as well and the kids were the last to get their meals, we asked a gentlemen that was not our sever to see if he could check our food he came right back out with them and they were hardly warm.(they had obviously been sitting up there for a while). We asked her for iced water never came, and she came back we asked again and she was rude and had an attitude and threw it on the table. Even when we were leaving they told people there was a wait even though they had a ton of tables open, they just weren't able to keep up with anyone's orders and our waitress only apologized the first time for not knowing our table was hers, not for the food or drinks coming...
