White Castle — Restaurant in Indianapolis

One in the morning drove across town to see a line wrapped around the building!! I had ice cream in the car and joked with a text it would be a milk shake by the time I would get my food and make it home. I ordered a number two, with cheese sticks, coke with no ice, 2 original sliders with cheese, a 12 piece chicken ring, and a cup of pickles. The burgers were hot l, fresh, cheese melting everywhere it needed to be, the fried items were fresh from the grease, and this time the items didn't taste like old oil like the last two times so it was great!! The coke could use a touch more carbonation but that's a personal choice so won't hold that against them. I was given plenty of condiments but the lady handing it out didn't seem like she wanted to be there and felt I was bothering her by just being there but we all have bad days so hopefully hers gets better. I will return, food reheated well from the extra I purchased last night. As far as the ice cream... it was still in great condition by the time I got home, the wait time wasn't bad even though it was a popular spot so don't be discouraged if you see a long line, it will move fairly quickly, I think mine was about a 12 minute wait, not bad for cars wrapped around the building and fresh from the grill and fryer...

Upon visiting this White Castle (9:32pm), the establishment was extremely dirty and poorly maintained, notably cloudy and stained windows. There were two cars in front of me in the drive through. On top of having to wait around 10 minutes to place my order at the speaker, I had to wait at least another 10 to pay and receive my food. After paying and waiting more, they asked my to pull through to the spot ahead to park and receive my food. I believe that I was forgotten about, because they never answered a call after waiting for 16 minutes. I knocked on the window and nobody came. Finally, after the employee came out and handed me my food, they forgot my sweet tea and all of my sliders were cold and a little dry by the time I got home after a 7 minute drive. 8/19/23... I want to give zero stars, but ill give ONE star because of the drive thru order taker's customer service..... DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM WHITE CASTLE on W. 16th St. Indianapolis.... The food was horrible. First off, I didn't gt my sliders the way that I ordered them. 2nd, they weren't freshly made, they were cold & they looked & tasted like they were an old or a previous messed up or that had been sitting. I ordered (2) 12pc chicken rings. 12 regular, 12 ranch. 3 bacon sliders with no cheese & no onions & 12 sliders with cheese, no onions.... The bacon sliders had no bacon. The 12 cheese, no onion sliders had no cheese. EVERYTHING was cold & ALL the sandwiches looked like the onions were just picked off old sandwiches or like they came out of the garbage. NEVER AGAIN will I get food from...
