Del Taco — Restaurant in Irvine

I really like deltaco and it's my go-to fast food place. I probably to Del Taco once a week.

Today I went to the Del Taco by UCI on campus Street.

I got value tacos which I always do, today I was extra hungry so I got four. I was disappointed to find out that the tacos were all less than half full with barely any cheese or meat on them. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness of their bathroom of course I wash my hands before I eat.

This probably created a pretty soft attitude towards expecting anything other than mediocre but really the tacos were not very good.

The drink station was also dirty and the ring that you put your trash through in the drink station was so black and gray me that it made me wonder about the cleanliness of their kitchen.

They also chose these green chairs that must have been there for a long time because they're covered with dirty fingerprints and seem like they are never cleaned.

How do I say I'm a big fan of Del Taco but I don't think I'll be going back...

5/7/24 Update:

I used to be a regular patron of this Del Taco however I will no longer be spending my money here. I've been coming for breakfast a few times a week before work for years. The staff, when available, are usually pleasant and helpful, however they are often not available. For a 24 hour establishment there is often either no one on staff or the staff is unavailable to answer the drive through quite often, which leads me to either skip breakfast or have to drive to another restaurant. It's a little spendier but Carls Jr. on Michelson/Culver doesn't have these staffing issues and always answers their drive through and I will be going there for breakfast moving forward.

The worst del taco around here. Slow service and usually mess up my order. Del taco in general is inconsistent. Some have hardly any ingredients in the tacos or burritos and usually made very sloppy. They keep raising the prices and making the items smaller. Also most of the locations the price on the menu is not accurate, they always charge you more. Some times they forget the hot sauce I asked for, and other times they'll throw in like 50 packets! I would give negative Stars if I could, I decided to give them another chance today I went in it wasn't busy waited for over 5 minutes the girl at the cashier wouldn't even acknowledge my existence.
