I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order of Bronx bomber. I was starving that day, but I know I am picky enough that if the taste were mediocre, I wouldn't bother to write a review. I prefer either NY-style thin-crust or true Napolitano pizza. They serve NY-style, and although I would not compare it with the pizza I had in Brooklyn, It is pretty damn good. I will come back to this one, but I will try a different type since Bronx bomber was so spicy that you need a carafe of beer to cool down the burn. The only thing that did not impress me was the decor. I thought it lacked warmness. I don't do take-out, so I appreciate it when businesses create a pleasant atmosphere for their clients.
Update: I revisited Stg. Pepperoniās Pizza, and to my disappointment, they brought a video game device for the little ones. We sat inside by the bar, and it was so noisy from the machine that I couldnāt eat fast enough to get out of there. If parents want to distract their kids by bringing their pads to play with, that is fine. But when a store introduces such a device to make extra money or to attract families with little kids, then they need to remove the bar area and let other adults know. I love kids, but I canāt stand being in a store/restaurant and having little ones run around because their parents decided to have a good time at the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSoooo... I love this place! Always great pizza! All the employees are amazing! Everything is always great. I've never been to this location in Irvine before, but it's on my way home, so I decided to stop here this time instead of the Newport Beach location. Holy crap it was PACKED! And just like the Newport Beach location, everyone was really nice. I paid for my pizza, and they gave me a buzzer so that when my pizza is done, I can go get it. Great! That gave me the freedom to walk around. So, because it was so loud inside, I walked outside. Then I noticed a window in front of where the two guys actually made the pizzas. Cool! However... while one of the guys was wearing gloves, the one guy was NOT! Yuk! And as I watched him, he was shoving his bare hands deep into the cheese bin and moving the cheese all over and mixing it up, and then grabbing a handful and tossing it on the pizza where he continues to move the cheese around the pizza so that it's even! GROSS! š Put on gloves! I don't know where his hands have been! Honestly... I love this place and they have great pizza. But that was disgusting! Not sure I'll come back to this location. But it's basically on the University of Irvine campus, so I'm sure they'll be fine. That's all I've got to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing pizza. I love the fresh ingredients and the pizza dough is mouth melting. The dough, sauce and cheese are all on point. The curled up pepperoni is thin, but delivers a good bite. The pizza that they had was so delicious and mouth-watering. The cheese was so melted. I like their new york style pizza. I discovered this place awhile ago and still maintain the fact that it's the best pizza in Southern California. The garlic knots are on a whole other level, get them with ranch (you're welcome) though my girlfriend said mixing the ranch with the side of marinara that comes with it made it even better. The next day I couldn't stop thinking about the leftovers. I was looking forward to eating them after working from home all day. When I was done working I rushed to the fridge and started heating up the left overs in air-fry. This place is a hidden gem and they can count on me being a regular from now on. Great service and friendly staff. I had a good pick-up order experience when ordered over the computer with no complications. Praise the Pizza Gods on this place. A truly mouthwatering pizza, and I want to urge you guys to try them too. It was all worth it! Strongly...
