Starbucks — Restaurant in Irvine

Warning! This is not a "corporate"-run Starbucks! They can't scan your Starbucks app and they don't do Starbucks rewards!

That said, it's like any other Starbucks, except filled to the brim with college students. It's packed for most of the day, especially in between class times. The food is standard Starbucks fare, nothing really amazing, but also not terrible.

The drinks quality though, is another story. The baristas are UCI students and many of them don't know how to do their jobs efficiently, thus the quality of the drinks here suffers significantly. Combine that with a location that's always busy with customers, it can get pretty chaotic.

This Starbucks always gets my orders wrongs. And today they got it wrong two times in a row. Today I asked for a venti iced white Chocolate mocha with oat milk and one less pump of white mocha. Not too difficult right? Then I was given a grande size drink when I asked for a venti. Then the baristas remade the drink and it was a venti but it only had 3 pumps of white mocha. One less pump in a venti would be 5 pumps. A venti normally comes with 6 pumps. I don’t even work at Starbucks and I know this. Then I went to the register to ask for a refund and the workers were all laughing at me in a group. I don’t see how asking for a refund is funny. It’s safe to say that I definitely won’t be returning to this Starbucks again in my remaining time...

Starbucks is just a lot of people one of the favorite places to visit every day or at least as often as possible.
