Went on a Sunday after church (about 12:30ish). Sat in the bar area with my daughter & grand-daughter. Sat there for nearly 20 mins b4 ever being acknowledged! Saw ppl coming in after us, getting seated & served. After about 30 mins, the waiter greeted us, apologized for the delay & asked what we wanted to drink. We all got waters. Took ANOTHER 15 mins b4 we got that! Didn't see a manager in sight to come help his or her staff with the bit of traffic that was flowing thru that bldg. Finally, my daughter went over to another waitperson in a different section of the restaurant, told her our situation & asked if she wouldn't mind serving us if we sat in her section. The woman was very kind & courteous, & very obliged to help.... so we moved from the bar area. Once we got seated in our new section, we were instantly waited on by another waiter in that section. The kind female waiter came by to make sure we were being taken care of. Within minutes, we had placed our orders, ate, then left. Before leaving, though, the bar waiter came over to our table to apologize for not being able to wait on us in a timely manner. I thought that was very noble of him. What was surprising was, not ONE TIME did a manager EVER come out to speak to us about our negative experience. Chili's use to be a place that I would come to EVERY SINGLE WEEK with OR without family & friends. But now, it's not even on my Top 5 Places To Eat list. Customer service has gone WAY down! I'm a person who loves giving positive & uplifting reviews, but my last 2 Chili's experiences (this one in Irving, near the mall & the other off I-20 & W. Wheatland Rd) were bad experiences. The manager at the Wheatland Rd location even took my name, said that he would contact his corporate office & compensate us with gift certificates for our HORRIBLE experience, but that NEVER HAPPENED! Smh U've lost ur touch Chili's. U've let me...
Read moreWas messy and our table we sat at had food and trash under it, the bathrooms were nasty and i understand this to anpoint. they could def. Use new mangement to help get the cleanliness of the restuarant under control. We left quickly because the cleanliness was below par and the staff did not have clean attire and properly take care of themself either. Possibly a woman needs to help manage this to keep things clean. I walked past the kitchen and even that was a mess as well. We did not eat here after all of this. We walked out and i spoke with the manager and told him the lack of being clean was the reason. Maybe if people looked more presentable and the tables were cleaned and swept under, it would give first appearance as good. But then to walk in the bathroom and see yellow, not clear substance, on the floor and the kitchen a mess as well made it even worse. They need to figure something out, for real, because this will only bring cheap customers in and their staff will lack in good tips and money. Sales will not do well at this rate either. Being in the restaurant business my whole life, i have never had an issue with any of my restaurants looking like this. From a customers stand point and know restuarant industry it is important to have crew looking nice and presentable and the dining room and restrooms presentable at all times for good presentation. Also we went to a chillis in arlington after this and the whole resturaunt was clean and presentable as a resturaunt should be. So to me this is not a chilli's thing this is a location amd manager thing. You can read my other post of the chilli's i went to after this. And how amazing it was compared to...
Read moreWent here to purchase lunch for the hubby and I. It was the first time I ever ordered through the app and curb side service. First let me get to the food. I ordered both of us the 3 for $10. I got the hubby a Dr. Pepper, a Just Bacon Burger with Fries and the potato soup (I wasn't thrilled with that and neither was the hubby since it tasted like it was from a package and then added cheese and onions...sorry). I got myself the BlackBerry Tea (OMG where has that been all my life...soooo Amazing...a couple of gallons to go please...LOL) the Just Bacon Burger and Fries and my Favorite soup ever which is the Chicken Enchilada Soup (don't ever remove this from the menu). I also got Chips and Salsa just because we both Love the flavor of the salsa because it has just the right amount of heat and their chips are always crunchy (this trip was a little disappointed with the chips since they were pretty broken up which gave us mostly small chips and a bunch of crumbs) we heated what we could of those and the Salsa (YUM). I wished they would give you more options to customize your burger because there is somethings we don't like on our burgers and hate to waste food or the cooks time putting it on there. The burgers never fails they were hot, juicy and cooked to our request...kudos to the cook. The young man that brought the meals to me was very polite and made sure the order was mine and correct. To bad I didn't get his name so I could give him a shout out. Besides the potato soup not being all that and the broken chips everything was perfect. We will be back for both take out and...
