Crepe & Cup — Restaurant in Irving

I have been living in Texas since 2005, never had such a perfect Kunafa until I visited this place which is located in Irving mall, and the story behind me visiting this place is awkward. I first saw a post on Facebook page that my wife was following, so we drove from Mesquite to Irving to check it out and boy it was all worth it.

The Kunafa was so delicious and perfectly prepared unlike other places that claim to know how to make it but ends up tasting funny. Ammar, the gentleman behind the secrets of his hand made Kunafa is very personable and has great people skills. I hope one day they'll start putting this item on the menu and make it popular.

Crepes look good but the younger gentleman who worked on March 18, 2019 at 645pm was terribly rude when asked questions about the difference between the crepes displayed on picture. I’m pretty sure he got bothered from his break cause I saw he was eating in the back. This was the first time I bought the crepes at this location, but the way he treated me made me just throw away my dessert. He also asked me what else did I want in the crepe, but I didn’t know what my choices were other than strawberries and Nutella. Very delicious crepe they made me. My coworker told me about them and I went to try them on my day off while shopping at the mall. The staff were very nice, wish I had cash to tip them. The manager or owner even gave me and my sister a free sample of a new item he plans to sell. I think he called it a Kanafeh. It was very sweet and had strechy cheese underneath it and pistachios on top. I will say, since it does seem to contain nuts, I would ask the staff which nuts if you have an allergy.
