So I been visiting this place for more than 10 yrs now. I've loved their food like momos, chicken chowmein and chicken tikka masala to be specific. It's is out of this world. I quit meat sometime ago and I've been trying their veggie chowmin, veg momos and paneer tikka. They are all good except their veg momos. Veg momos are way too blend and lacks seasoning for their stuffing. So I ordered jhol momo this time hopping it will have a better taste then steamed veg momos. But I was disappointed again by the veg jhol momos as well. Even the jhol for momo was blend and didn't make up for tasteless momos. I am writing this review so that they can improve their veg momos. Everything else is great about this place. Plus they have new waitresses working every now and then and they don't recognize regular customers and there for customer service goes down the hill too due to no experience and offer look at you with blank stares. Please train your staff better to maintain the friendly atmosphere for even the customers who are not Nepali. Sorry, but little criticism was needed after giving my business to this place for over 10 hrs. Thank you and hopefully y'all will work on your veg momos :) and the aachar, chutney or jhol that goes with it. PS- I always spend $25-30 at this place by my self per week. Which is $1200 per yr. Would love to continue to give y'all my business. But not being able to find tasty veg momos at a "Himalayan Nepali" place is a disappointment. It's a delicacy and authentic taste should come through your food. Added pictures are to show my love for this place.

This is going to be a long review. I gave 2 stars for the Momos and appetizers that we ordered. They were about to close so we ordered on phone, before reaching there. The food was good. We were aware they were about to close, but we still asked our server if we can still order something. The server looked at other server and after pausing for a while she said let me check. She then told us our order will be made. We thanked her. After a while another server brought us our Samosa. She looked at us with a weird expression. We didn't thought about it much that time. Samosa was too oily and after taking just a first bite, it tasted overly cooked. So we were about to finish our food and leave but we heard 2 people yelling back kitchen. It was so loud that people could heard it outside the dine-in area. Then the server who brought us Samosa sat in the corner table, and then another server came to her and said something to her. She then stood up and walked quickly to the backroom. Then we overheard 2 servers taking how their chef come to work drunk and shout at the people. It started to make sense why the server who brought us Samosa had that weird expression. It was because their chef shouted at her and she was about to cry. We really felt bad. We are never go there again.

I used to like the food at Everest. But last time when i went to eat thali (rice chicken and vegetable), all the stuffs that was brought was stale and does not look fresh. Please see the attached pictures. Normally when i used to go i liked the food but since last time Me and my friend were given stale food jncluding rice chicken vegetable, I was shocked. The pot in which it was brought was seem it was microwaved. Although i did not complain as complaining wont be much help. I mean even in USA the restaurant like are simple misusing the food guidelines and not giving quality food instead taking good price for the food. Please stop doing this and there are lot of other nepali restaurant who provide much better food than yours. Previously one my friend faced similar issue when he was given chicken tikka instead of paneer tika masala and he is vegeterian. I wish i could complain where the required action would have been taken but no use.I have reduced the rating from 4 to 1 . I wish i could have given more less than that.

Wonder how you guys run this restaurant. We first ordered a mushroom soup and to our surprise turned out be excellent and were eagerly waiting for the main course that is when the trouble started. The portions were extremely generous and each course would easily feed two people. The C.Biryani and Prawn fried rice we ordered arrived in time as promised, the portions were large, impressive, well garnished. Now as we took a bite we realized that it tasted nothing close to a simple Palau, forget the Biryani. Tasteless burnt and inedible. The Prawn fried rice also turned out to be a disaster. No taste what so ever. To make things worse the cook has added peanuts and things that are not meant to be seen in such dishes. We had a hard time right from start and had to eat it just because we paid for it. Anyways most part of the food was left as we felt not worth falling sick.

A mango lassi that we ordered for our daughter turned out to be so Sour that we have to keep it aside. For Sure this would have hurt us more consuming it!

In the end I expressed our dissatisfaction and opinion about the food and the place. Although she didn't charge us for the lassi, over all the experience was terrible. Would I recommend this place to anyone a Big NO! At the end it's just not the quantity people look for, quality makes all the difference ! I give a generous one star for this place.

The upkeep of the place needs to be given a serious thought! The place stinks...

I usually do not write review, but I am writing this time because of the owner’s arrogant behavior. I ordered food from this place for an event on 12/11/2021. When I tried to contact him to place an order, he would hang up the phone while I was in the middle of ordering the food. Since this place was referred to me by a friend who used to work there, I thought of giving this place a second chance even after a rude behavior, which was a big mistake. After eating their food 20 out of 25 guests had diarrhea. Since it was my event, I felt extremely bad that my guests had diarrhea, so I decided to confront him. I sent him a text and I wrote, “Your food was bad, and it caused diarrhea to my guests. Please be careful.” He called me back immediately and yelled at me and accused me of writing a bad review on his website which I didn’t. I am assuming one of my guests wrote that review. I tried to explain him that it was not me who wrote the review but he continued to yell at me. He also threatened me to come to my work to yell at me. Never in my life I have ever encounter such rude behavior from a business owner. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give this place a negative rating. Please do yourself a favor a spend your money somewhere else as this arrogant man does not value...
