I went in with high hopes because most of the reviews said positive things about their momos. The moment I walked in, my face and nose was hit with this foul smelling odor from this restaurant. We ordered chicken momo. Let me just say it was the worst momos I have tried. I think they served me past two days momos. It stunk like hell. The momos tasted like rotten old chicken. I donāt know how they are in business. How come no one is reporting them to the health department??? This is seriously unacceptable to the general public. Itās a shame and disgrace to your culture and food! People can actually get food poisoning. Unhygienic, dirty, and smells like a prostituteās den! Donāt even try their sauces that comes with their momos. You will get sick!!!! Worst food I have tried in my whole time in the USA!
Btw, from the pics it looks like itās good, but once you bite, you will be š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®!!!!!
This business needs to be reported to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot sure why the taqueria menu is still up since they don't seem to actually make any of it (at least not on the Sunday I was there). Refer to the menu of the loose sheet of paper on the counter instead for the Nepali offerings.
They were out of khasi (goat) momos unfortunately, so I ordered chicken kothay momos instead. They were very flavorful and some of the best I've had, I think seasoned with fenugreek leaves perhaps. Also got the sel roti (rice flour donut) with tarkrai, which turned out to be kidney bean soup (rajma) rather than vegetables I was expecting. The sel roti itself seemed to have been fried a while ago and reheated. Unfortunate, but still edible. I also spied a Mason jar of pickled daikon which they happily sold to me for $6.
Glad to see a bit of our food culture get represented out of a Texas gas station. Seems like a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhenever we craved nepali street food this was my go to. I have ate so many time from here but recently I had an horrible experience with their food. I bought 2 veg momos, 1 buff momo and chicken biryani on thursday. My friend had a horrible food poisoning from either buff momo or chicken birayani. I didnot intend to write negative review since its owned by our fellow nepali; hence I sent them a message explaining what happened; they just read my message and flat out ignored. Hence we have made a decision never to return to this service. I will miss what I use to love and enjoy but I am scared to try...
