In response to the answer provided by the Manager/Owner; You state the reason for NO MILITARY Discount is due to "fraud", but a LEO/other 1st responder can shaow their badge and get a discount. The State of Texas drivers license has a designated place on the license that shows VETERAN, with the Service they served in; Mine says Veteran/ US Coast Guard; my prior license said VETERAN /US NAVY. When I renew my license in 2026, I may change it to read VETERAN/ US ARMY. Yes, I served in all 3 over 10 1/2 years. As to you not hearing from Wells fargo, about the disputed charge; It has ALREADY been removed from my July statement, and the dispute closed. I am sorry it has come to this, but BAD service, and being charged for something I said NOT to do, is very bad customer service. I wish you well, and truly hope you can get this fixed, because we NEED all the 'independent' shop owners to stay in business.
We have been to this dine in Mexican place, MANY times, since it opened (after relocating from Irving Mall Our 1st eperience was with Maria, a beautiful 'older' wait person;friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions; we even were fortunate to meet her family, at the cafe one day. Original choices were ok, nothing spectacular. Over time, I have learned, they do not DO good tamales or enchaladas. I usually just get 2 flautas, sometimes, the meal, others, just the flautas. We have taken friends here, and MOST were pleased with food, atmosphere, wait times. Unexpectedly, the mexican juke box just starts playing; I usually ask them to turn it OFF or at least, down, so we can have a conversation. Last Saturday, I had out of town guests, so we went to Los Lupes (some were familiar with the brand, from when it was on Hwy 183, some years ago). Service was OK, but NOT spectacular; I ordered water with EXTRA lemons (NEVER got them). Flautas were ok; green & red salsa were both TOO Caliente to consume; they do not have queso, nor MILD salsa. At the end of the meal, each couple (or single person) told the waiter, seperate checks; I speciffically asked for the MIlitary Discount (which was NOT applied). I told the waitperson to REMOVE the "tip" that was included on the printout, as I ALWAYS tip, in CASH at the table; I MARKED THROUGH THE SUGGESTED TIP, THE AMOUNT PRINTED, WROTE ON THE CHECK, TIP ON TABLE, and $17.70 (the cost of the food), and told the waiter, DO NOT CHARGE what is printed! Yesterday (6/25) I reeived my Wells Fargo account for July, 2025; the bill from Los LUPES was on there for the ENTIRE amount! I filed a "dispute" explaining to WF, what had transpired, and the resolution I expected. Today (6/26) Wells Fargo closed the dispute, Los Lupes was dinged for the entire amount they charged to my CC. Will not be going back, as,, they have NO MORALS in...
Read moreI am not going back!! We used to love going to this location 2 to 3 times a month but our experience on Saturday was over the limit. We got there and got our usual table by the restrooms. The rudest waitress i ever met came by and said " what u want" rolling her eyes. I felt like saying a new waitress. We ordered. The menudo, a enchilada plate, tamale plate and i wanted to try the caldo pollo. The waitress says " you know thats alot of food" i was thinking there are 3 of us thats not that much but i just said we can eat it thank you. She disappeared for about 10 mins and brought us a scraggly basket of broken chips that tasted old. We asked for mild salsa as my mother in law gets heartburn with hot salsa and were informed this was all they had. Every other time we have been accommodated. After another 15 mins the food came.( which is always good.) i received the menudo, my wife the enchiladas and my mother in law the tamales. I took the pollo caldo. She gave me a plate with scant onions, cilantro, and chili on it. I immediately asked for more onions which i never received. About halfway through she came back with tortillas. Which i had already asked another waitress for. The other waitress also brought butter more chips and filled our drinks as our waitress was quite the magician as she dissapeared. As our waitress finally appeared she handed me the check and it was $34.68 which is resonable especially with the extra dish. I gave her 40 dollars to which she never came back with the change. I assume she thought it was her tip. And to that shs gets the middle finger. We will never...

If you could give them zero stars I would. My wife and I went to eat there a Friday night about 11:00pm. As soon a as we got into the door a guy approached to us asking $5 each just to get in there. We told him that we were there just to eat, not to dance. He said that we would not have to pay if we were just eating. They sat us on one end of the restaurant, away from the music. We ordered a carne asada for each of us. About 10 minutes after we ordered, the waiter brought the plates. When I tasted the meet, it had a horrible flavor and my wife agreed on that. The meet tasted and smelled like if it was cooked in a pot instead of the grill. We decided not to eat the meet. When I call the waiter and told him about it, he said "well let me call the manager" when the manager arrived and I explained the condition of the meet, she said "well, we always cook the meet the same way so our meet is good" implying that we were the ones with the problem. The manager was not helpful at all, so we decided pay the check and leave the place. I would never go back to that place. I would not recommend it to anybody. You have been warn if you...
