My husband and I came through drive thru around 3 am…. We were immediately told by an employee that for whatever reason they can only except mobile orders or Uber or DoorDash GrubHub. This was the second time in a row so my husband wanted to speak to a manager and express his frustration. The manager was extremely apologetic and went out of her way to get us our food, which she did not have to do it, and was very much appreciated. we were speaking to the manager, and I noticed an employee constantly popping his head out the window looking at us. I guess he was wondering what was going on or what was the hold up. When we got to the second window, we were immediately asked “is there a problem?“ And my husband politely explained what was going on. At first the employee not only mocked my husband by dismissing his concern he said “you want to know it’s frustrating I work the system !” First of all, what a rude comment to meet to a customer, second of all in my 20+ years of working in restaurants in customer service if I treated customers the same way this this employee did I would be out of my job quicker than you can say Bob’s your uncle. The female employee that told us about their system issue also was rude and annoyed when we asked to speak to a manager. It shouldn’t matter why Customer wants to speak to a manager, it’s their right as a customer. In our years of coming here this was the worst experience ever. If you want to be treated poorly, come to the drive-through in the middle of the night. I get this is McDonald’s and you get what you paid for it, but come on get it together....
Read moreMy first "job" outside corn detasseling was McDonald's, so I know... I worked the drive thru windows and the front counters. I worked the kitchen and cleaned the place from top to bottom in my time there.. (Different state/location)
4 stars because the folks that take your initial order are unprofessional. No one wants to work at McDonald's but if you keep that attitude, that's the only place you'll be able to work.
I've since moved into Customer Service, then management and now I'm in a completely different field where I never saw myself. No college and I didn't graduate high school. Attitude goes a long way.
Anyways, they seem unhappy to be taking my order, my payment and just having to see my face. I'm the type that will leave a drive thru if you sound annoyed to be talking to customers. It might be a Karen thing to do, or maybe this review is more of the Karen thing, but hey it's my money and I will spend it where I am valued. I've not done this with this location yet, but I've come close. So because now I have to drive out of my way to get some sort of fast food.
Back to McDonald's, oddly enough, the second window is usually really nice... I don't get it.
My recommendation, use the mobile app, if it is...
Read moreEvery time I place an order through the kiosk and add sauces we never get them. It’s super irritating, especially when you have to get up from eating to ask for it when you requested it in your order. Why offer that option to not add it when requested? Then, tonight, me and my kids walk in about 9:05. Mind you they have been looking forward to the play place all week, only for them to have it blocked off saying it closes at 9. I go to the front because I see people in there, and ask if we can go in. They said no, that they close it at 9 and they would tell the other people to leave. The people inside didn’t, which of course they shouldn't have to leave just because we couldn’t go in, as they were obviously in there before 9. I asked nicely and was still told no. I feel like they could have let us in, especially it being a Saturday night. I get rules are rules but my kids were extremely disappointed. Pretty sure we’ve been in there after 9 before no issues. They weren’t going to start cleaning that area until the other people left anyway, so we would have had time to get in and out before they needed to start cleaning up. Had it been empty when we arrived I would have understood, but they could have made an...
