Modern Market Eatery - Las Colinas — Restaurant in Irving

I came here with 4 friends hoping to catch up and have a good time. One of my friends is in a wheelchair so we found the only available accessible spot to sit and pulled a smaller table up next to it since it was only for 4 people and we had 5. When our food came out the associate told us we would have to move because that table wouldn’t work for us. At first I thought it was because she thought we didn’t have enough room but she told us we couldn’t move tables together and since we were a larger group we’d have to sit at a different table. We tried to explain that the only tables set for 5+ people weren’t accessible (they were either high tops or the legs of the table made it almost impossible to pull a wheelchair up to the table) but she rudely told us that we would have to move and wouldn’t give us our food otherwise. We explained that we would put the table back afterwards but it was no use. We ended up complying and my friend had to sit awkwardly at the corner to be able to get her wheelchair near the table. While the good was good I would not come back hot this location based on how we were treated. I understand policies but sometimes you accommodate in order to make things accessible...

My fiancé and I come here weekly LITERALLY! The last few times that we've been there, the service has been poor. They have gotten our orders wrong which has caused us to drive back to get the right order, they've even given us someone else's order. I complained to their shift manager Ryan about the training needs and told him that I wouldn't return there if the prob wasn't addressed. Well, he was nice enough to comp my meal one afternoon and so I decided, we could give it another shot! And I was wrong. Just recently, my fiancé and I visited for late lunch around 3pm. Well.. I ordered a steak sandwhich for the first time and the steak that they served me was CLEARLY days old! It was try, and literally black! I informed the manager on duty that I wanted a refund and they should have never served me that meat and her response was " I know that we were at end of the meat so we served that and we are cooking fresh steak now" are you kidding me?!?! This not quality and fresh! I will not be...

If you have an allergies do NOT eat here. They claim to have dedicated gluten free kitchens and yet I somehow ended up with a salad that had bit and mac and cheese throughout it. Not fun being sick for two days. I clearly marked my allergies and it completely went over their head. Not to mention I asked for a refund over a week ago and keep getting tossed around. No one can really address what happened (no one is listening) and keep offering me discounts. I have told over three people that my trust in them is completely gone and I only want a refund and this somehow still seems to go over their head. Just the service alone dealing this I would not recommend this place to anyone . This is not the first issue I’ve had but since the food was good enough I let it go. I ordered ahead by 30 minutes once and still had to wait 25 minutes for my food at a basically empty restaurant.
