So, my husband and I went here for the first time this past weekend and it was such a great experience! We went pretty late -- it was around 10 PM on a Saturday and they close at 11 PM. But, even so we got some stellar customer service -- probably the best I've ever gotten at a fast food restaurant to be honest. Shout out to Brandon -- you were awesome and friendly and deserve a raise sir!
That being said, this place feels like it was designed to function in this millennia. When you walk in there are 6 kiosks so you can place your order and reminders that you can download the app and order online -- of course you can just wait in line to order in person, but the option to get your food online MAKES SO MUCH SENSE! This is the type of place that gets busy, it makes sense to just order your food at the kiosk so it's ready to go when you get to the front instead of just waiting. And I'm guessing it probably keeps the lines short but they weren't busy when we went so that's just a guess.
The food is amazing. I got a Shroom Burger and it was the best mushroom-patty-based burger I've ever had. I will return just for this. I mixed the shroom burger and smoke shack burger and I regret no decisions. It was amazing! The fries were classic crinkle cut and paired well with the burgers. The custard and shakes were delicious as well. We sampled the majority of the menu and we had NO COMPLAINTS. Like, the food was on point -- that's all there is to it.
Other pros: The atmosphere is modern and chill. The provided games, so you could come for a game night. It APPEARS to be dog friendly for sitting outside. I'm not 100% but they had "dog parking" in front of the main doors, but this is just an educated guess. They serve wine and beer on tap and as a millennial, that's amazing cause sometimes you just want some wine with your burger. There's enough variety without feeling overwhelming.
Cons: The menu is a la carte so you can rack up a pretty high bill, pretty quick. There's no drive-thru -- this is just a personal gripe, sometimes I don't like getting out my car.
I gave it 4 stars because of the price -- for fast food, this is not what I would consider a cheap visit. We spent circa $45 for two people, but to be fair we were also trying the menu -- we got two burgers, two fries, a shake and a glass of wine.
All in all, worth a visit if you're in the mood for a good burger. It's delicious and we will definitely be returning. Check it out if...
Read moreI stopped by here because my Fiancé heard Neil Degrasse Tyson talking about this place. We went in, very clean place and we were greeted promptly with smiles and hellos. I hadn't been here before and didn't notice the "order here" sign but the Man behind the counter didn't make me feel foolish. We placed our order and it came out to a little over 40 bucks. My Fiancé went to put his card in the reader and it was declined. He tried swiping, didn't work. Mind you, we wouldn't have stepped foot inside if we didn't have money to pay. My Fiancé was visibly nervous. We were far from home and starving. We reside in Denison but I had an appointment in Arlington and stopped in Las Colinas on the way home. He tried that card a couple more times. No good. At this point we apologized and said sorry, cancel, the card won't let us be great. We were on the way out, we were going to try the Shake Shack in Plano, maybe the card would work there. A Gentleman stopped us at the door and quietly asked us to stay, as they had already begun cooking the order and he said they'd take care of it. We were floored. We took a seat and he brought us a couple of the most delicious burgers I ever had. Crispy hot crinkle fries and lovely shakes. He even passed by and asked how the food was! I thought this was a fast food joint but I got restaurant service that was so kind. When I'm back in the area I plan to stop in again with MY card! Thank you to all the fine folks at...

I had high hopes for my visit after looking forward to dining at your establishment for quite some time. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. We arrived on a hot Friday evening, with temperatures reaching 105°F.
Upon entering, my first impression was that the restaurant was clean, but I was taken aback by the lack of a warm welcome; no one greeted us as we walked in. The only interaction we had was when our food was delivered 14 minutes after we placed our order. While the food was decent, it didn’t stand out in any remarkable way.
I genuinely feel for your team. The food was average, and the absence of personable staff made our experience less enjoyable. In Texas, when facing the sun in the afternoon, it can get quite uncomfortable, and unfortunately, the heat inside the restaurant added to our discomfort. The halogen lamps seemed to exacerbate the situation, making the dining area feel even hotter. I would recommend replacing them with LED lights to help mitigate the warmth.
Additionally, the ice machine seemed to blow hot air, contributing to an uncomfortable atmosphere. It might be worth considering ways to redirect that heat away from your customers.
We were looking forward to sharing our thoughts with the staff, but there was no one available to talk to.
Thank you for...
