This little “cafe” is in one of the most busy plazas, so the entire courtyard was busy with cars and everyone standing outside this joint, chatting and talking, enjoying the cool September breeze and the weekend coming in. It’s right next to Amaravati which we have tried before, and never noticed this little joint beside. The atmosphere reminds me of bakeries in India. It’s very small inside, so you don’t have much space for a dine-in experience. It has some child friendly options in the menu, but doesn’t really have any specific options separately for kids. The Dil Kush that they had on display was delicious. It’s not on par with the ones in Indi, but was VERY good, and would highly recommend one to try it out. They have lots of freshly prepared sweets, and pickles on display for you to buy. We took some of the madata kaaja (will update on the taste). Mango Lassi was your generic one that is available at every store, and Irani Chai wasn’t good. We took the last 2 Mysore Bonda and some punugulu to eat there as we waited for our order, and was disappointed for the taste. The Mysore Bonda was rock hard and very dense and punugulu were very oily. With just one bite it felt like you were taking a spoon oil in. Would definitely not recommend punugulu. We took home some Puri, Idli, And Paneer Biriyani. Puri with the potato curry was good. Puri was soft and not too oily, and went well with the potato curry. Idli was good, but the chutney was terrible, and they forgot to give us chutney for 2 orders of Idli. The best of the night was the Biriyani! It was absolutely scrumptious with the salan. The salan gave it a kick making the Biriyani much more delicious. Don’t forget to try the Biriyani as it’s probably one of the bests we’ve had in the past few months. The 3 stars is only for the Biriyani and the Dil Kush and nothing else, as everything else was barely edible. Would definitely go back to try more Biriyani and Dil Kush.

The place is not so good for those who care hygiene and noise. Neither it is for physical ambience. There is loud music and crowd noise. Pani puri is the best in this area. The place gives typical Indian vibe. There is commendable quick service. The tables and floor are always unclean and a turn off sometimes. They need to optimize the songs being played. They are too loud for a eatery. I frequently hear fellow customers hating the songs and the loud sound The restaurant doesn’t have a dress code that will market their brand and I think that is unnecessary in certain desi places but I think they can wear head caps and gloves while handling food. I’ve tried Ghee Karam Idly, pulavs, dosa, bonda, Mirchi bajji, vada, Manchuria etc. Ghee karam is heavy and tasty. Rest of the foods are not the greatest around but they are good enough anytime in terms of taste and quantity. The cost to quantity ratio is so well maintained. Apt place for students who care for their budgets. It’s a good hangout place. Visit this place on a heavy work day and try the irani chai. It is very refreshing though they struggle to maintain the hotness of the chai. You can ask them to reheat it though. Dallaspuram’s middle class hangout place that gives Indian nostalgia is here. Multivisits are suggested if you can ignore the hygiene. For the taste and quick service, I have ignored the cleanliness of the place and rated it 4. Otherwise this place is a 3.

One of the first places I tried in Irving, and in my opinion, it was a decent pick for a quick breakfast with satisfactory pricing. The service was impressively fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The ambiance, however, was just okay. Here are some of the options I tried: - Idly: Very good, soft and fluffy. - Vada: Deep-fried and crispy but a bit doughy on the inside. - Ghee Karam Idly: Below average, as the ghee made it very heavy, but the seasoning was right. - Irani chai: Strong and richly flavored. - Filter coffee: Thin and watery; I didn't quite like the taste.

Ordered plain dosa thinking it will be most simplest of dosa with plain potato bhujia as the next one was onion dosa and then masala dosa. From that i thought these will be the additions to the potato bhujia but I was wrong.. plain dosa meant just the dosa with nothing inside 😃 . Disappointed but mistake was my own as i didn't confirmed what it means and assumed on my own.. I didn't realize my mistake until I reached home and open it.. It did came with a one medium and one small plastic container and I assumed the bigger one contains potato bhujia and small one is chutney. It turn out it was coconut chutney in the bigger on and some lentil soup in the smaller one.

There was nothing to taste about dosa as it was just thin crispy sheet. The reason for 2 star rating is I like coconut chutney a lot and this one was tasted ok but way spicy for me so I was only able to ate a spoon full from more than a cup. Luckily I had some leftover potato sabzi at home otherwise I would have nothing to eat...
