Cafe Cream Stone | Best Dessert Spot in Irving, TX — Restaurant in Irving

*Edit: Thinking on it more, this is a potential health hazard and it could potentially be affecting kids, will be making this a 1 star review until they implement metal silverware for the sizzling brownies. Original score was 3 stars. *

Have come here twice, once recently for the sizzling brownie and it was a letdown. The cashier didn’t know what it was which was probably not a good sign, then when they brought it out they only had plastic spoons. Which is fine for ice cream and 95% of the other items they had available to eat, but worrisome when scooping up a brownie and icecream from a sizzling hot plate. Just tried to be careful not to let it touch the hot plate but plastics leeching into the food is never appetizing.

The icecream was placed on the hot plate itself as well, not on the brownie so within a couple of minutes it became a brownie surrounded with ice cream soup.

Full disclosure, still ate it all despite my complaints, but didn’t want it to go to waste + still wanted dessert.

The other time we came here for the bubble waffle with ice cream which was good and why I’m leaving it at 3 stars for this review. It was not amazing but still enjoyed it.

This is the best ice cream spot in Irving city I must say! I absolutely love ice cream and often try it at many different places. As an ice cream lover, I enjoy exploring new spots and I was so happy eating here. The taste of the ice cream was amazing! Back in India, there’s a place called Cream Stone and this place has the same menu just like in India. I’m a big fan of Willy Wonka and Death by Chocolate and they make it exactly the same here. It truly felt like I was eating at Cream Stone in India. You guys are just awesome! I love the warm welcome and hospitality. The way you prepare the ice cream is great. I come here often and I can confidently say you’re the best in town. If you keep this up, you’ll definitely become number one in all of Dallas!

Dead by chocolate is my all time favourite at this dessert place.

Update: I’ve always enjoyed visiting this place — the ice creams consistently taste great, and “Dead by Chocolate” continues to be my top favorite among all the flavors.

However, I’ve noticed an issue that’s happened more than once. When paying by cash, the staff don’t return the correct change. The first time, I was told they didn’t have change, so I let it go. But now, on two more visit, they’ve returned a rounded-down amount without saying anything. It’s unclear whether it’s being treated as a tip, but it would be more professional and respectful to inform customers upfront if exact change cannot be provided. Transparency goes a long way in...
