Yesterday was our second time getting To Go from this restaurant. I have tried many places in Dallas for authentic Indian/Nepali cuisine. Although there are many Indian restaurants in Dallas, but I never experienced the authentic Indian food here especially butter chicken and biryani until I tried this place. As always I was very skeptical in terms of hygiene, taste and quality but seeing the high ratings and reviews (which I usually don't trust, but I myself do post only true reviews of every place I try), I decided to give it a try. Our first time was when the restaurants were just reopening during Covid times. We ordered their signature chicken Sekuwa (pardon,if it's the wrong name; but go online and you will see this as their first dishes on the menu), chicken biryani and chilli chicken(tried Nepali,Indian and Indo-chinese). All 3 were simply soul filling, although chilli chicken was a tad bit spicy for me which is not a bad thing at all when compared to the overall taste and quality. Great presentation and quality was commendable. And, since the past few days I have been craving for authentic butter chicken and naan so tried a couple of restaurants which was only disappointing(most of the places butter chicken tastes like they use the ready to make mix ain the market like Maggie,Knorr, n stuff not fresh). But, yesterday I thought of trying here and to my surprise, it was so good, filled my soul. Having come from Dubai, a city where we get everything best it was hard for me to match to that taste which I had experienced back home. I am very glad, after the long hunt and waste of lots of money and time, I found this place. We ordered butter chicken, naan, chicken biryani, goat curry(Nepali way) with Jeera rice. Way to go team! Keep satisfying our souls with great food, service and quality. Note: This review is only on the basis of my recent two visits. Will change the review depending on the services. Honest reviews only! I went in during late lunch. First of all, the place is decorated so beautifully… It feels fancy yet homey. I love the design of the restaurant. I ordered Johl Momo, Bendal Sekuwa, Roganjosh, Garlic Nan and the Bhatmas Sandheko. The momos…. AMAZING. The chicken meat inside was so flavorful and seasoned well. It was chewy and soft. The sauce was a perfect spice to compliment the momo. Personally, I do not like to eat very fatty foods so the sekuwa was okay to me. BUT it was SO crispy and i liked the sauce that came with it. I think the sekuwa would’ve have been better for me personally if it has a pickled veggie dish paired with it. Lamb Roganjosh… beautiful… along with the garlic nan… i’m dreaming of eating this again lol. I also liked that the garlic nan was sharable and they cut it up for you. Bhatmas Sandheko was a nice crunchy appetizer. I never had soybeans prepared this kind of way. I like the spiciness and crunch. It kind of has a bitter/sour/spicy taste maybe from the onions + spices so if you don’t like that kind of flavor profile I would not recommend. Again, this is my own personal taste but I would prefer a bit less bitter and more limon/limey. HOWEVER, I would still order it again as it was a nice refreshing appetizer. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Aayu was so helpful in helping us decide our order and also so welcoming to us. The best. I would recommend checking this place out if you are new to Nepali/South Asian food. The menu is diverse with foods for everyone to try. They also have a drink menu 👀. You would be missing out if you skip trying this place. Thank you Bajeko Sekuwa for the food! I will be coming back for sure and bringing...

I absolutely love this place. I used to come here a lot and I've been eating here for around four years now. The food especially the jhol momos is just amazing. The way they make them is super tasty and the overall food quality is excellent. Earlier, the service used to be top-notch, but things have definitely changed. I think the management might have changed too because the last time I visited, there were new people working there and I was really disappointed. And yesterday, I gave it another shot thinking it might have just been a one-off, but sadly, the experience was the same fantastic food, but terrible service.

The staff are just too serious and not welcoming at all. I even asked them to recommend something special from the menu and they just handed me the menu and said, "Take your time and tell us what you want." It honestly made me feel bad. I only keep coming back because of the amazing food, but I won't be returning if the customer service continues like this. Even my Nepali friends have noticed the same thing and that's probably why there are barely any customers these days. Whenever I visit, it's just me and my buddies no one else. The management really needs to take care of this. The food is next-level, and if they improve the customer service, this restaurant could easily become number one in the city. Also, I noticed one of the servers cleaning tables, handling the cash register, and serving water all with the same hands and no gloves. That was honestly surprising and not...

Finally checked Bajeko Sekuwa off my want to-try list, and it was a fantastic evening! Bajeko Sekuwa, meaning “Grandfather’s Barbecue” in Nepali (“Bajeko” for grandfather, “Sekuwa” for seasoned, fire-grilled meat), welcomed me with a charming concept and logo. The upscale decor and cozy, private vibe, paired with a well-stocked bar, set the tone for a great night. The service was excellent, with the owner personally greeting guests which was a warm, thoughtful touch. The drinks menu had something for everyone: a few wine options, good beers, and popular spirits. For appetizers, we enjoyed Bhatmas Sandheko (crispy soybeans with a bold wasabi spiced kick) and Chicken Sekuwa, both delicious alongside a classic Taj Mahal Beer. The Chicken Vindaloo with garlic naan was a perfect main course, and the Rasmalai dessert was a fine sweet finish. The food was flavorful, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on. Tucked away off MacArthur Blvd, the restaurant is easy to miss but offers convenient shared parking. Pricing: Moderate, well worth it for the quality of food and service. Will I go back? Absolutely! Excited to try the momos and other Himalayan specialties.
