Taco Casa — Restaurant in Irving

First off if you don't want to ruin other Taco restaurants then do not go to Taco Casa, I made that mistake on a visit in March and I live in Oregon. All my wife heard was Taco Casa this and Taco Casa that so much that she thought I was nuts like how can a Taco place be so memorable. This last week we were back in Texas as a Family instead of my solo trip and for the first time I had her try them the day we arrived like since I was craving like a Taco Casa Junkie. She now understands and we ate there 4 times in 7 days. This brings me back to my first sentence. Last night we flew back to Oregon and she came to the realization that there is nothing we have that we can now enjoy as much as we did in Texas. Makes me wish I could phone in an order and they could just ship me the contents of the Super Tacos so I can make them fresh at home along with a gallon of their sweet tea. You may wonder what the heck is so special about their Super Tacos well unless you try them you will not really know but let me tell you their meat is phenomenal and their taco shells have a very satisfying crunch unlike any other taco joint I have ever been to. Damn just writing this is making my mouth water so do me a huge favor and buy one so I can enjoy that at least I was able to share this with you. I could have taken a picture for you all but I did not want cause an addiction just by sight haha. If a person from Taco Casa reads this hook a Taco Casa junkie out and send some of that sweet Super Taco perfection up to Oregon. THE MANAGERS AND OWNERS ARE RACIST. MARC AND AZURE ARE TWO OF THE IN STORE MANAGER'S AND DID NOT WANT TO HIRE A BLACK GIRL. THEY FRANCHISE OWNER: JACKIE DOES NOT WANT TO HIRE ANY BLACK PEOPLE. THEY KEEP ONE BLACK PERSON EMPLOYEED SO IT MEETS LEGAL REQUIREMENTS. Per the signs on the door, this fast food establishment opens at 10A. I called the store over 15x at 11:30A and no answer. I left a message only for the owner; Jackie to call me with an attitude and more upset I questioned her if the phone lines worked instead of her focusing on why her business was open for an hour and half and no one answering. The owner the lied when I asked her a question about payroll. I asked if pay stubs were available online - she stated no and when I told her she is lying and I can clearly view a paystub, she then banned me from the property. The two in-store managers; Marc and Marie are very rude and not customer friendly. Marc is a very well known racist and displays his true colors (short worded, cold, unwilling to help) when helping a person of color compared to helping a non person of color. He is even rude in drive through and constantly sounds like he has an attitude and doesn't want to be at work. The company does not give out raises like they say. The two on site managers; Marc and Marie will ignore staff when asked about raises and anything regarding a bonus. I do not recommend this place at all - take your hard earned...

I Love this place. My favorite is the crunchy beef tacos and super burrito. What I Love is not only the friendly staff and the closeness to the house but the will customize my burritos or any food item that I get. Would give it more stars if it would let me. Thanks So I'm adding on to this review. Now even though I Love this place and everyone is super nice and the food is great and always hot yesterday for the first time ever did I have a problem with my order. Now the soft taco and chili burger was exactly like ordered and the only bad thing I have to say about the crunchy tacos is that even though it takes me around 5 minutes to get home they are never crunchy to bad they can't fix it like they do with their nachos by having everything separate so you can put it together when you get home but I'm ok with it since they were still good. Now here's my issue with this order. I ordered my hubby a super burrito with no beans but extra sour cream...his was perfect. I ordered my super burrito with no olives and extra sour cream...what I got was an over sized bean and cheese burrito. No meat no lettuce, tomatoes, onions or sour cream but was charged for a super burrito. I ate it anyways because I was tired and hungry after a full days of Dr's visits and tests and traffic.
