The food was subpar. My chicken and rice was mad salty even the white sauce was salty, it didn't have onions and the tomatoes were huge whole cherry tomatoes which was weird. Nonetheless, my toddler and I couldn't eat it so it was just a complete waste of money. My cold sub wasn't made how I requested then it was considered hot because the bread was toasted... well I got home and it wasn't toasted at all. Whoever in the reviews said this place was comparable to a NYC bodega is incredibly delusional. My son and I stopped in on Thursday of last week, on a whim, after picking up some items from the dollar store a few doors down. I had heard good things about the food, from my friend, who owns Pro Braids next to Irvington Post Office. My son ordered a turkey and cheese sub. He is a picky eater( with new restaurants).
