Crown Fried Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Irvington

Its cramped, always littered with people (homeless, customers, and loiterers), it does NOT smell good, the food is sub par at best, and what makes it worse for me is the soggy fries. I ordered an italian chicken steak, requesting for the fries to be fried hard with hopes of having a little texture with my entree, but once I received it, the fries were extremely sogged, and would’ve been inedible if it weren’t part of a sandwich. In addition to that THE CHICKEN is the most middle ground flavor can get. Bland, old tasting oil, and the meat had zero of that flavor, leaving the skin as the only part worth tasting and enjoying. The prices are a bit steep in my opinion, and there are several places in walking distance where you can spend the same or maybe even less for a better experience. Idk how this place has been open for years, but if a local tells you this is their favorite place to eat;...

They forgot to give me my change then when confronted about it they started calling me a liar and cussing at me then called the cops on me. The police had to check the camera to confirm i was infact right and they owed me change. The workers mostly at night are very rude, condescending, and feel like people are beneath them. I would not recommended this establishment to anyone no matter how hungry they are or...
