I have never been so rudely treated by a bar tender so it was one & done. I simply asked for a Sangria. I got a "No, but I can chill red wine for you". So, I ask, "is it sweet red wine"? You'd swear I asked the type of grape and the year it was bottled. The answer was, "it's red table wine". I then asked if he had orange juice, to which he replied, "No". Then he said that I should know what kind of bar it was and if I wanted WINE I would be paying $30 not $6. Well, first of all, I was going to change my order to a screwdriver, and I only drink Titos Vodka. But since he had NO ORANGE JUICE what was the point? The wine, BTW was definitely red table wine. I asked for a splash of 7up or Sprite...I got a shot of soda water! Bartender doesn't have orange juice, doesn't know the difference between 'soda' & soda water. We went there with the intention of eating but no way. We felt like we were on an episode...
Read moreThe bartenders are horrible never used to be such bad service the new hires are driving the old crowd away completely which is a shame all the locals know this bar has gone downhill hard in the last 3 years thanks to their new staff. I’m already seeing their google reviews starting to tank with all these recent reviews sounding the alarm about how much the staff is burning this place to the ground!!! Run with your money no one that works here respects themselves or anyone else they’re all a bunch of miserable people looking to give you a horrible service experience and expect a 25% tip for it! Save yourself the stress lol. All the locals are giving this place 3 more years max but we’re all praying it closes soon cause this place is giving key largo a...
Read moreWhat a find!! Saw the reviews on here and had to check it out. The BEST pizza I think I've ever had chicken cordon bleu amazing. Be aware the small is anything but SMALL!! 👀🍕🍕 Max (Gggrrrr Daddy bear 🐻) and Eddie (wanted to feed my partner his pizza 🍕🍕😂😂) were the perfect hosts on our first visit... thank you both for making us feels so welcome. Its a definite locals bar where all the workers in the area meet and and offload 😜😏 and working in hospitality myself know only too well the need to do the same. We went back again the next day as it has a liquor store close to where we were staying (20 mins walk - 2 mins by car) and we were welcomed by Abraham, who walked us through the local traditions etc.. The Whistle Stop Pub is exactly as...
