Authentic but a bit pricy -
I'm rarely here for food, but I stopped by here after hiking with my friend. I got the braised pork belly rice combo and she got the beef noodle soup combo. Her soup is authentic with good flavor, and my braised pork belly tastes on par with what I've tasted in Taiwan. The portions are just right for the combos for females, but it might not be enough for male who has a bigger appetite. I also ordered a popcorn chicken to go and it tastes on par with other places as well, but slightly on the harder side. Their pricing is less competitive since monga cafe in bellevue offers a smaller braised pork belly rice with a bowl of soup and two side dishes for $15.99. The rent in Bellevue is higher, so I'm guessing the profit for one n half lab is higher.
We usually stop by here for bubble tea so I already knew their drinks are good. My fav is the iron Buddha milk tea, which is harder to find everywhere else. Their boba is half chewy and half soft, which means you won't have issues...
Read moreRespectfully, it’s genuinely insulting how small the portions of meat are for the lu rou fan. The same is for the Taiwanese sausages which look nothing like the image described. Im not even sure how to review this because im honestly having no a hard time even believing this actually happened. I wish there’s a way to get a refund because everything feels like they’re portions for little kids.
$16 for genuinely has to be illegal especially without even utensils in the bag.
Idek what to say because I’m just genuinely speechless and tbh I don’t rly even want to eat it anymore. I highly strongly would not reccomend anyone to come here sorry.
Genuinely might just be the worst food spot I’ve been to my entire life ☹️the food is not pretty good just...
Read moreFor this amount of food and quality, it’s kinda pricy. I dined in for once basically you order to a machine and also need to find a table to sit as well. The only time you will interact with the staff is when they serve food to your table.
After finishing, you need to take all plates/ utensils along with other things to a cart. It’s like half self service restaurant, but they still charge you for tips and expect you tip more🤷🏻♀️.
The only thing worth to order was their freshly fried popcorn, chicken, onion ring, etc .
Beef noodle taste bad . The noodle wasn’t chewy at all and meat was small and salty. The soup tasted like they just put soy sauce with water. Don’t bother to order beef noodle, which should be the most iconic food in...
