** UPDATE: I won't be going back. Their customer service is horrendous. A pizza was missed on my order and when I called to have it replaced the manager was rude and clearly didn't care, just told me to get a refund. When I told him I just wanted the pizza, he was a snothead and told me he'd remake it but I'd have to pick it up in a real condescending tone. The food is good but it's not worth the terrible service.
Original: I'm torn. I've been hesitant to leave a review because their pizza is hands down my favorite, ordered every other week for the past 6 months. When it's good, it's good. But here's their issue: consistency. Some nights we have perfect service. Food's done right, delivered on time, good service. Tastes AMAZING. Capone sauce, good. Wings, good. Pizza, best.
But when it's wrong, I mean it's half raw. Wrong toppings on a simple order. NOT DELIVERED because they scheduled one driver, who called out sick, and didn't think to notify until 20 mins after our order was supposed to be delivered, and told us to come pick it up. No comp no replacement. 👎🏻
Look it's rough right now, I get it. But the inconsistency is it for me, you guys gotta get it together. I'm ready to stop...
Read moreI was happy to see that Romeo’s opened a pizza shop closer to me, (Stringtown Rd instead of Grandview). Unfortunately, I’ve had 2 bad experiences at this location already because my small pizza and cheese calzone were over cooked tonight as it seems the oven heat was too high. Also, this location does not put enough filling inside the calzones like other locations. I love Romeos and will continue to be a customer, but believe I will drive to the further location from now for the quality of food.
Update: 3 Stars
I was asked to give a review when I picked up my food tonight and was given the name Brice, which is who made the food. Overall, I am satisfied, but wished I could’ve given a high satisfaction rating. The menu says that the Calzones should be made with garlic butter and Romano cheese brushed on top. Neither one of the two calzones I ordered had this topping. I don’t believe the fault lies with Brice, because this has been a problem ever since this store has opened. And in spite of complaining about this store many years ago, it is still happening, which is why I sometimes drive to a different Romeo’s for a...
Read moreBeware! Romeos has decided not to inform patrons they are actually using Door Dash for delivery. Imagine my shock when the doordash driver called me last night to ask if my pizza had been delivered. The driver was Blair she was actually awesome. Blair figured out that a different doordash driver had stolen our pizza. Apparently it's been a trending problem. Romeo's did remake the pizza Blair delivered the pizza unfortunately, it looked like someone stepped on it. The entire fiasco took approximately 2 hours. If Romeo's would like to reclaim the pizza it's still here waiting for the garbage man. My previous order was take out. I ordered from Stringtown as usually, sent my husband as usually and... My pizza was at Hard Road. Really? One of the staff members told my husband that it was the third time that evening the same issue had happened when ordering through the website. They asked if he would like to reorder and wait in store, he agreed. He was called up when the pizza was ready and they asked for payment. We got to pay for 2 pizzas and the Hard Road Staff got a free meal. I...
