If a - 5 rating would be available, I would have checked that. This place sucks.

Getting in and out of this facility was the worst nightmare I could have imagined and is a result of USDA Grade A ignorance on the part of the facility operators.

We went to see Jeff Dunham - he was awesome and brought the house down. Love him.

The problem could have very easily been avoided by assigning 3 police traffic officers at the 2 red lights on State Street and one at the entry road that meets the coliseum, all directing traffic and bypassing the red lights. This would have reduced the time to get in or out significantly.

Everyone was on their own squeezing in between cars( almost causing accidents) to get in line to get to the main entry/exit highway. You have to also consider the many a--holes who sneeze you out from getting in line and don't comprehend the "let every other car in line" procedure into the main line because they might get home 45 secounds latter.

This is total ignorance and is an excellent example of the "I don't give a damn about the customers" mentality towards the people who are paying for functions at their facility and without those paying customers, the facility would be filing bankruptcy fast. Something government entities and their employees don't and never will comprehend.

Let me educated these idiots a little: Attention children - If a traffic officer would be stationed at each of the 2 red lights on the main highway to the coliseum(State St) directing cars to use the two(2) lanes on State St & the entry road, instead of everyone piling into only one(1) lane and one officer at the end of the entry red to the coliseum directing cars to the parking areas it would be a breeze getting in and out.

Obviously, customer service is not a priority of this faculty and either 1) their greedy money gruby hands or 2) their actual ignorance or 3) both, continue to create a parking and exiting nightmare I have not seen at any other such facilities, and I attend ALOT of concerts, so I have a lot of examples to compare this place to.

Obviously this is a government run facility because the workers there were very rude and seemed to be irritated when you asked a question.

My family will NEVER be back no matter who is performing there. You can believe I will let ALL my concert going family and friends to avoid this place like the plaque.

I do want to thank the Mississippi Coliseum, Jackson staff and authorities for the biggest SUCK experience my family and I have ever had because this didn't have to happen if they would just have used 1% of their brain and a minuscule amount of common sense. Oh, and I almost forgot, if they would just show a little bit of a "give a damn" attitude, people who are paying their hard earned dollars, would become loyal customers.

The other issue I have is: They make you sit on hard wood seated chairs and folding chairs for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. No cushioned seating. And I don't' have to tell you what your butt feels after that. We left early because my wife's back was hurting so bad from the Stone Age setting.

A pissed and irritated first and LAST time...

There lots to like and dislike. My understanding is that groups that use this facility don't have lots of say in things .. there's no outside food or drink allowed because the collisiem provides the concession stand where they inflate the prices exorbitantly. Now they have taken out the ATM that used to be inside so you have to use a card and pay the extra convience fees. For people who don't really understand socialism vs free market... This is socialism. They take away your freedoms and then charge you whatever they want one your inside their trapped economy. I get the process makes them money, but $4 for a bottle of water is outrageous. The seats aren't padded but are better than a bench seat. Plenty of restrooms, except they don't have towels. They have air dryers. There's plenty of parking typically but they could do better about signage and definitely need to fix pavement and stuff. It is air conditioned so that's a huge plus over the rural places that have open...

I drove in from out of town to attend the Kevin Hart Show which I enjoyed. However, getting in and out of this place was torching! There should have been policeman to patrol cars in and out for a smoother transition. It took me over an hour to get in the place and even longer to get out! I blame the facility for falling to accommodate the guess with an effective means of transiting. On another note, the facility also failed to provide accurate concessions for its guess. After standing in line for over 15 minutes finally, it is my turn to order, only to be told they are out of over half of the options available. I enjoy venues such as this one and frequently afford myself the pleasure. However, my experience at this facility was sub-par. It is unfortunate that my first visit, will...

Walked here from our hotel. Venue was nice. They made us go through a metal detector and checked bags. We had seats on the floor but all seats seemed to have a good view. At the end, people came and stood in front of stage. No security backed them off. Not sure I liked that as people who paid good money either had an obliterated view or had to get up. I chose to stand and enjoy the last 2 songs
