Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Jackson

Food is great and staff is normally very nice. .. However becareful and only pay with cash. I just ordered a 14 peice fish meal. When i arrived the worker told me the order had been voided.. So i had to re order. So i ordered a 16 peice fish meal. As i wanted a few more fish. The man assured me it would not bill the first order because it had been voided. Now a few days later i lo at my card and see that they billed be just over 53.00 for a 14 peice fish meal i never got. I like this place but ill not go hear again unless i can pay cash. Do not trust them with your credit cards. I am attempting to get it refunded today i will remove the 1 star rating and restore a better rating IF I GET MY REFUND. I FEEL LIKE I WAS DEFRAUDED OF THE 53.00 FOR THE MEAL I DID NOT GET. UPDATE: I HAVE NOW CALLED THE STORE 20 TIMES THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER THE PHONE. THEY ARE IN JACKSON MI. AROUND 20 MILES FROM MY HOME THEY TOLD ME THE FIRST ORDER WAS VOIDED AND I HAD TO RE ORDER. THE ORDWR WAS NOT VOIDED THEY BILLED MY CARD OVER $108 AND I WAS ONLY GIVEN A 16 PEICE FISH MEAL THAT COST $55😡. THEN THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER PHONES AFTER 20 ATTEMPTS TO CALL THEM. Oh the travesty of the down hill decline of this particular restaurant it has just gotten worse over the years. Upon entry no greetings from the employee's, not a big deal order taker/cashier was less then friendly. On the counter there was a mix between dried up soft drink and wet soft drink. The floors are sticky n feel as if the same mop that is used to mop the kitchen to mop the lobby. Gross. Upon picking seating we find multiple tables with crumbs or left over food from previous customers as if the tables hadn't been wiped down the entire time they've been open. Now on to what you all were waiting for the food. My son and I ordered a sampler platter (#13) and a (#2) 2 PC chicken we had fries and coleslaw as sides the protein was hot not steaming as it should've been. Fries were okish till they were cold as stone almost tasted as a redunk to heat them so they didn't have to make a new batch. Anyways in ending I've loved LJS most of my life. I enjoy the food here. The prices are fair, and they honestly have the BEST French fries of any establishment hands down. No ketchup required, and better yet, they offer malt vinegar to put on those tasty fries. You don't have to wait for the fair to have those delicious fries. And Long John Silver's fries are better to boot! I went to a local home town chicken and fish restaurant (Whites) and was confused when I searched the menu for a fish and chicken combo and came up empty. I asked the lady behind the counter if such a combo existed, to which she replied. "We can't do that." I was even more confused because they sell both of those items separately. I just wanted one piece of each, fish and chicken and French fries I explained. She said "Yea, we don't have anything like that." I said "Yea, except for fish, chicken, and French fries." I then asked if they were aware of LJS right up the road who was able to figure out how to make a combo with those three items and exited the store never to return....
