Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Jackson

My wife ordered 2 Pork chop dinner and asked for pepper. Waitress returned and we were told pork chops were out, she then ordered the turkey, dressing...dinner. when the meal arrived we were told they indeed had pork chops only 1 was on the plate. asked for pepper for the baked potato and asked where was the 2nd chop?. she went to check, when she returned (without the pepper) she said they were cooking the 2nd chop. Asked for pepper again and a refill on my soda. she took my glass for the refill. When she came back with the refill again she did not have the pepper and had to ask again. She did return again this time with the pepper my wife put it on he potato and noted that it was still hard. The green beans were mush and she was done. we asked for 2 to go boxes for the remainder of our meals. the 2nd pork chop was also delivered with the bill for the meal. I told them when I paid my wife was not happy at all and we will not be coming back. They were not even busy... the appetizers were all...

Stopped for breakfast after husband's doc visit....employee greeter/ seating.....great/ friendly....waitress..cordial/professional.....food good served quickly....visit great until went to pay....Manger running/ training person at register was very unprofessional....gripping that everybody was paying w/$100s causing them to be short....all the while the other cashier was getting her change for the $100....is cash not good anymore???....do we old people " just take up your time"???...does Perkins not need the business??....she was just rude...never looked up....did not ask if we enjoyed our breakfast....this was Perkins Jackson, TN. Sept. 24...around 10/11:00...did not get her name but had Mangers tag on...we have always patronized"Perkins" here or while traveling....but I question management in Jackson, TN.....not going to visit here anymore....or not while this manger is on duty....bad experience....if mangers want good employees....maybe they should set a...

We, my husband and I, came in today for Veteran's Day. Perkins advertised a Veteran's Discount on the Veteran's meal. The restaurant was packed with Veterans. The service was our waitress was poor. The food was expensive and just ok, but the biggest issue was no discount. Apparently, the discount was only on one item on the menu. Apparently, the waitress was to inform us what that item was as if it was a special. She did not. We ate. We went to pay and no discount. The lady at the register says it is the waitress fault for not telling us but there is nothing she can do. The waitress is telling her and us, it is our fault for not informing her my husband was a Veteran. Both are rude, loud, and basically tell us there is nothing that can be done. The final insult was when we were half way out of the door, the lady at the register sarcastically yells.....thank you for your service....at my husband. We will NOT be back!!!! Ever!!!! To any...
