Soule' coffee + bubbletea — Restaurant in Jackson

The aesthetic of this place is very earthy and calming. This is what caught my eye upon entrance but not only that caught my attention, it was the fact that it was about 4-5 employees walking around and not a single one spoke to me and my guest. Keep in mind we were the only customers in the store at the time. This was our first time coming here and were super exited to finally try this place out. When trying to order on the tablet, we started to have questions about the drinks we were tempted to order, but the guy making our drinks looked annoyed that we even spoke to him. I ordered some brown sugar boba with brown sugar syrup added to my drink and he replied “is that what you really want” and it had me confused since that’s what I ordered lol. I assumed he was trying to tell me that it was nasty so I asked to make sure and he responded “I mean if that’s what you want”… like huh? Had me slightly uncomfortable from the awkward interaction so customer service could Definitely improve but the drinks were absolutely amazing. I will say, I think this is a black owned establishment which is awesome but whewww were me and my boyfriend uncomfortable. We ended up just going to the other boba spot...

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. The barista was knowledgeable and passionate about their drinks, guiding me through the menu with ease. One of the standout features is their use of timers for brewing tea, ensuring that each cup is crafted to perfection. It’s a thoughtful touch that shows their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

When my drink arrived, I was genuinely impressed by the beautiful presentation. The attention to detail was evident, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every sip was a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing their dedication to providing an exceptional product.

I like aesthetics and the coffee here, although it's a bit pricey to me. However, I have some concerns about how the owner manages the place. They seem to have inconsistent rules, especially about bringing outside drinks and food.

While I understand not wanting outside coffee/drinks, I find it a bit excessive when it comes to something as simple as water. I've witnessed some regular customers bring their own water bottles, and the owner doesn't seem to mind. With other people, he would tell them to put it away. The same has happened with outside food. This makes me question the need for such strict rules.

Regarding reviews posted here, I'd take them with a grain of salt. The owner encourages patrons to leave positive reviews, despite claiming not to not be a pushy person. So, I'm not sure if the reviews accurately reflect the current state of the shop.

Overall, I don't feel the owner's warm and welcoming attitude like others have claimed. There are too many inconsistencies and things I disagree with here. This place isn't my cup of tea,...
