06/12/2022 @ 5pm Went here for a birthday dinner tonight, we had 3 adults and one toddler. They weren't too busy but did have a wedding party. At first there was quite music then someone turned it up so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. After about 15 minutes thankfully someone turned it back down to a reasonable level. They have a good kids menu but lack in kid friendly drinks, with the only choices being Orange juice, pineapple juice, or extremely watered down lemonade. Our family got 2 starters, which were good (pretzels and Irish boxty) and 4 meals (2 cottage pies, a blarney stone and a kids fish and chips). It was all ok, most everything was very salty or extremely bland. The service was good and we got our food fast but other than this I would only come here for drinks as the drinks are really good. They also have 2 pool tables, one is currently out of order and the other one has water dripping on to it from the ceiling, it only cost a $1 to play. Went to the women's bathroom to change my toddler and the changing table was broken and to unsafe to put a child on. Overall it was an ok experience and our family ended up paying around $80 for everything.

We did not eat food here so I cannot comment on that. We came here with a group to play some of the virtual games they have and also have some cocktails. When we first arrived, it was relatively busy but they only had one employee working, and she was struggling to manage running the bar and also coming out to the different gaming areas to take orders of customers there. Overall I was pretty impressed with the variety of games you could play. They had golf, soccer, both rifle and pistol shooting games, archery, bags, bowling and some others. They let you rent a gaming area by the hour and then you can keep adding on by the half hour. They had a pretty good drink menu. We ended up going up to the bar for drinks because they only had one girl working. I could also appreciate that it was a family friendly place. We were visiting friends and they have two girls who are 11 and 13, and they were able to participate in the fun. Overall I would come back here if I was I the area, I would just recommend to management having more employees working so customers aren’t waiting 20 minutes to try and order.

A top notch dining experience that is filling and relaxing. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The Angry Ginger Chicken Sandwich was a good compliment of flavors with the chipotle aioli, fresh avocado slices, and provolone cheese. The chicken was a touch over cooked, but still made an excellent sandwich. Beer batter onion-rings are also superb. The Blarneystone is a wonderful warming meal with a generous portion of seasoned mashed potatoes on an open, toasted french roll covered in shredded ribeye, cheese, and savory gravy. This was such a heart warming treat with a lot of substance. The Irish Boxty was a great starter, seasoned mashed potatoes rolled in a ?cornmeal? crust and fried. We got it with the side of corned beef and they compliment each other so well. The corned beef was of such good flavor, even ones that aren't big fans of it were pleasantly surprised. It makes me want to try on of the corned beef sandwiches next time.

On a cold, wet, windy, and rainy Valentine's Day evening, the warm food and hearty Irish flavors warmed us from the inside out. I had never been there before, but had been to an Irish pub near Raleigh that I really enjoyed. I am so pleased to learn that there is a wonderful place like that much closer to home!

The wait staff we observed were not wearing masks. Tables were cleared and wiped promptly. There was a sign to "Please seat yourself" and no areas marked off for social distancing. Perhaps due to the weather, it was not terribly busy, and we were able to walk in and seat ourselves immediately at a suitable distance from others. There were no comments or stares at anyone choosing to wear - or not wear - a mask at any point. Also no pressure to leave after the bill was paid tableside.

Service was prompt and accurate. Two dishes were unavailable as they had run out of key elements of the dishes, but everything else was available and with such a wide array of tasty options, it just meant selecting those two dishes will happen on a return visit. The server we had was quick and pleasant when she acknowledged she did not know certain details of a dish, but immediately checked with the kitchen to ensure my order would not include any items that I am allergic to. (The cottage pie was delightful! As was the strawberry shortcake torte.)

I may not have been to The Angry Ginger before, but I have no doubt I will be back. Definitely recommended.

UPDATE 29 Sept. 2022: Having now been to this fine establishment multiple times, I still want to order nearly everything on the menu every time I'm there. Fantastic food, great service, no frills seating but perfectly adequate, and a pool table to entertain those who don't want to watch others eating dessert or who get impatient waiting for people to arrive. One of my hands down favorite eateries...

If you identify as a female, I’d recommend not sitting at the bar and expecting any decent service. The bartender with short brunette hair completely ignored my friend and I the whole night, and served the males around us with speedy service. She completely lied, and claimed we did not tip her! And told us she would not serve us anymore at 11pm when the bar closes at 2am- even though she was previously tipped her over 50% gratuity by us! Even when she ignored us at the bar for hours! Mind you, this is a Thursday night.. so not a busy night. I received 2 beers in the 3-4 hours we were there. But she hungout at the juke box, and talked to the male customers near us continually. A server wanted to help me and my friend order but did not even know where the bartender was located in the restaurant at one point. Do not expect any decent service at the bar, at least on Thursday nights if you identify as female. I myself, work in the service industry and do not expect to be tipped by everyone, but I still do my job to the fullest, and I expect that from others in the service industry. I’m assuming she just wanted to be done for the night and wanted to be off work. I do regret tipping this person as much as I did because she didn’t deserve a dime of my hard earned money with the disgusting, degrading attitude she gave me...

My Wife Rochelle and I have been living in Richlands for over 2 years and have never been to the Angry Ginger Irish Pub. Well let me tell you: We found our very favorite place to eat since we've been here in NC. Our Waitress, Sabrina was incredible(Ask for Sabrina when you go). She gave us suggestions on dishes, and she was spot on. My Wife, being a former Waitress herself, said that Sabrina was the best Waitress we've ever had since being here. To us, the Waitress is half the dining experience. Now to the food. I ordered a small order of boneless buffalo chicken (5 pieces), and the chef made these wings incredibly tender and moist. My Wife had the shaved Ribeye sandwich, and there was zero gristle in the meat. I had a couple of bites. Delicious! I had buffalo Mac and cheese. My dish was excellent. I ordered an extra cup of buffalo sauce. I like it hot. I couldn't finish the pasta, it's a lot of food. The Mac and cheese came with chunks of chicken and lots of cheese. The meal was incredible and delicious. Sabrina, and for just working there for a few months was incredible. We're going back tomorrow night for my Wife's birthday. They have a variety of menu items, and I'm sure you'll find something that catches your eye. Go hungry because you'll be...
