This evening, My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. We sat at the bar where we recieved excellent service from the bartender who was handling the section very well on his own. Upon our departure, we stopped in the "order to go" area to pick up an order placed by my mother in law. The order was on time and ready to go , however she requested that we ask for additional ranch dipping sauce. So, we did. The gentleman at the host station obliged however when he began to go to the back to retrieve the sauce, he was sent outside to deliver a "to go" by his superior. When he returned he noticed that we were still waiting and hadn't recieved the requested ranch and told us he would get it right away. His tone made it clear that he'd expected us to have been gone already. He told us that he soon return with our sauce. At this exact moment, a another gentleman (Caucasian male wearing a pink collared shirt-very managerial looking...Pony tailed curly ginger-colored hair) stepped behind the counter with back to us, preparing a order for pick up. He must've overheard the conversation because without acknowledgment nor looking/turning in our direction, he placed a sauce on the counter. We waited patiently for something to be said as to if the sauce was for us or not, but it was to no avail. Finally, my husband questioned the gentleman to determine if the sauce was meant for us. The gentleman replied with a slight nod. He didnt even respond with actual words. We felt completely disrespected and disregarded as Chili's customers because of this treatment. Not to mention the fact that he didnt saying anything to his team member who went out of his way to grab us a sauce when he has the sauce that was initially meant for us in his possession. I believe that having a job working in customer service and not working as a team, nor refusing to acknowledge customers is unacceptable. I recently moved here from from S.Florida and have never recieved this type of treatment from the Chili's I frequently visited in Fort Lauderdale. It's very unfortunate that one person's distasteful behavior can overshadow the hardwork of others on the Chili's team. Clearly, this staff member need tonhave additional customer service training as well as training to work with diverse populations. I'm disappointed and offended by the way I was treated after choosing to spend my hard earned money at the Chili's establishment and convincing my mother in law to spend money with the company as well. With the plethora of restaurant options on San Jose Blvd., I will surely think twice about dining with...
Read moreI placed my order in the app. No issues there. I went in to pick up my order at the time they asked me to come. When I got there, they were pretty flustered and admitted that someone had stolen my To-Go order. I had over $50 of food, so the bag was huge. I'm really not sure how you walk in and walk out of there without someone verifying that it's actually your food. My daughter and I waited in the To-Go area for over 30 minutes. (This area has no chairs so you have to stand or go back and wait in your car) When I talk to one of the associates helping the manager get everything straightened out, she said they were going to try to adjust the authorization to give me a discount for the food for the inconvenience. When it finally posted to credit card no adjustment had occurred. I called and spoke to the same manager a few days later and ask him why it did not adjust. He said they didn't plan to adjust it they were just trying to get the food reordered and ready as soon as possible. The some of the reordered food was also wrong and we were missing things that we didn't realize were missing until we got home. It was a total mess and at that point I was over it. The manager offered me coupons to be emailed to me to use for another time. These coupons have still not arrived in my inbox and it's been several days. I called back and spoke with another manager who offered to refund the entire meal and he said the coupons take a while because they have to go through corporate in Dallas for approval. The coupons are still not here by the way. I talked to the manager one day and the following day instead of refunding my meal he just recharged me for all of it. I have now had to get my bank involved and now they're trying to get it resolved by actually disputing the charges altogether.
Total mess, food was subpar, No accountability whatsoever. The 3 for 10...
Read moreI have recently seen a bunch of bad reviews here. I have been here about 5 times in the last 18 months with no issues, and I'm surprised I haven't left a review. Now, I won't say it's my fault... I blame Happy Hour and El Nino Margaritas for my lack of reviews. I have never have an issue here that wasn't quickly resolved and my only complaint ever would be at 4pm on Saturday the bathroom floor could probably use a fresh mopping but literally this comment belongs to 90% of restaurants in the same category as this one..... So today, I went to check things out. I was greeted quickly with a smile. I sat in a booth, and my server Terri arrived faster than I would have expected. I ordered 8 wings and 2 margaritas. The wings came in a normal amount of time, and I know this bc I wasn't even able to finish my drink before they arrived. The wings were really good, much better than my last time at the ale house. Honestly, at home, I grill my wings and for fried wings... I'll come back for them bc they were perfect. Now, I should note that I ordered them naked and with sauce on the side. I have noticed over 20+ years of eating wings .. they come out better this way for me.... Anyhow, continuing along... my wife and I ordered some sandwiches, and they were amazing, and the fries were perfect.... Two more drinks as I slowly eat and life is good. I have no complaints about anything, and my wife was happy, so that is the big win here. Your mileage may vary but im 6 for 6 on random days at random times....
