I love Gong Cha so much. This place has better boba tea than anywhere else in JAX. Lots of other places are just overly sweet smoothies and stuff, but this place is ACTUALLY tea, AND smoothies, AND coffee. Everything is insanely customizable as well.

Be adventurous here, it pays off better and better every time. Wintermelon is an amazing choice every time. Also the brown sugar milk tea styled iced coffee. Hello, if you've never tried it, change your life for me real quick and give it a sip.

Gong cha is authentic boba tea. Never gotten stale boba from them in my life and I've been a patron to many of them across the states for a very long time.

I typically love this boba place and get something every time I'm in the area, and it is usually really good. Today I ordered a medium earl grey milk tea with 3Js for the first time which I was was really excited to try, but when I got there they charged me $7.37 for a drink that was $5.80. When I checked the receipt I saw that instead of putting in my real order he had put in the earl grey milk tea with each of the toppings as extra, and when I tried to explain his mistake, him nor any of his coworkers could understand what I was saying so I just conceded and paid the extra money. This was the first boba I had to pour down the drain. I bought 3 drinks, all different flavors and they tasted HORRID. On top of that I got very nauseous after trying them. They also forgot simple details for each of my drinks. I ordered a strawberry yogurt swirl and they didn’t put yogurt in it. It was just strawberry purée, overly sweet. I ordered coconut milk tea with mango pearls and they just put regular boba. Not to mention the actual drink itself was disgusting. Lastly, I ordered a caramel milk tea with boba. It didn’t taste anything like caramel, it tasted like straight up watered down coffee. I will NEVER go to this place again. I...

I would say one of the best, if not the best, boba spots in Jacksonville. I’m so glad this place opened up here, it really tops other boba locations and it’s not crazy on topping selection or the prices for the toppings. The menu isn’t crazy overwhelming either even though it looks big. If you haven’t tried this place yet, definitely give the strawberry creme brûlée drink or the lemon yogurt drink a go, it’s so delicious! I’m not a fan of the waffles, or waffles in general, but I did try it. They’re alright, not my thing, I wish they were a bit more fluffier. The drinks are definitely where it’s at though!!

I was so excited to try this place, but maybe my expectations were too high because I was a bit disappointed. I got a creme brulee strawberry latte and a pearl waffle. I was expecting the drink to be a little thicker and richer, but it just felt like iced milk with some fake strawberry syrup pumped in. The waffle was good but there were boba pearls embedded which I didn't like and made me a bit sick. But I still have hopes I'll find something on the extensive menu I'll like! Next time I'll try the regular waffle and a smoothie or milkshake!

It could be a great place to work remotely and grab a boba. I didn’t love the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. It was a little watery, but I LOVED the Lychee Green Tea. I would definitely go back and get another one of those or something in that green tea family.
