HolySmoke Barbeque — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Arrived 25 minutes before they closed on our scooters and they said it was totally fine for us to come in and even allowed us to bring our scooters inside. I asked what is the easiest and quickest items for them to make and they emphasized that Everything is quick. The food took 20 minutes for them to prepare and wasn’t ready until after 9pm when they were closed. They were bagging our food up and we stated we needed to eat there because we couldn’t transport on the scooter. They made us aware that they had to be out at 9:15 so we said yes we can eat within 15 minutes. 8 minutes later they told us we needed to wrap in and get out. It was the rudest I’ve ever been treated and such a different attitude after they took our money. If they would’ve been upfront, we never would’ve came in and ordered. As for the food, the brisket was ok. The pork sandwich had a lot of hard ends in it. And the baked potatoes were hard, old and not edible. The sweet tea is old and sour tasting. I definitely won’t return because of the experience but recommend going earlier in the day for fresher food and...

The food is very good, the portions do not match the price and this may cause you to not come back, the sides are awesome!! So I ate here twice the first time I had the rib dinner (5 bones and 2 sides). The ribs were super tender. However, I'm not a mustard person, and they put mustard and bbq sauce on my ribs, which I did not know. It's my fault for not asking. My sides were Mac n cheese and baked beans, absolutely delicious 😋 but, it was like baby sides, like two spoons!! I had iced tea, and they give no refills, not for free! I paid 27.00 not bad at all but I wanted more Mac n cheese...so the second time I ordered 3 ribs and a large Mac n cheese and baked beans, it was way better, about the same price,but I like Mac n cheese! Still no free refills so I left thirsty!! Don't get me wrong, good foods, and nice lady taking orders, just know what you want...someone has challenged me to the brisket sandwich they have...I will let you know, when and...

I've had way better; the chicken cold on one side,which was my first time there. I also took a minute to look over the menu to decide,the Owner, I believe came out to address the cashier,to let her know to move on. Me and my mother couldn't decide what to get, I let him know,Hi,it's our first time,he replied: I have orders backing up... Sir,it's not our fault. Anyhow,I should've went to Bearded Pig! Or,Gators Barbecue. I recommended these places to my mother,we'll try them next time. I also asked him the price of the potato,he said: Shell be back,Sir,you could have just answered the question, withdraw from customers how I felt,no feelings of gratitude for patronizing his business.
