Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Update 7/12/2018. This location continues to disappoint. Today drink machine ran out of drink. I mentioned to the counter help. They yelled to someone in the back. End. So, I waited then after seeing no action, nor being informed that any action is being taken I decided to ask. The cashier acted as if I was being unreasonable by trying to find out if anyone was working to solve my drink issue. Then the acting manager asked the cashier what I wanted (while I was standing there), instead of asking me. After he explained she went back to her task...again no one addressing my question. Unbelievable.

Update 11/17), they messed up my order. They get so busy an rush that they don't pay attention to bread type n details. Another 30 minute wait. Shame on me for coming back. NOT A FAST PLACE FOR LUNCH.

10/17 - ordered online, got to store to pick up and discovered they got my order wrong. Had to wait for them to remake my sandwich.

Ordered online in order to avoid waiting in line. Showed up in 20 minutes and they said I was too early. After another 10 minutes (30 total) I was eating. But 30 minutes? It's a sandwich. Also their sweet tea sux. Tastes like unsweetened. But they say that's how they like to...

By far my favorite sub shop in all of Jacksonville. The bread is always superb, always fresh.

I love that all the meats are sliced to order, and not pre-sliced sitting in a cold metal pan for hours and hours at a time. And the quality the meats is unmatched. The pastrami, the corned beef, the roast beef I mean everything the meets are just absolute perfection. I love pretty much every sub I've ever had there, but my favorite has always been the Italian, or number 13. Compared to the other sub shops in Jacksonville nobody comes even close to matching The Taste of the Italian sub at Jersey Mike's here on Phillips Highway.

And the staff anytime of day any day a week every single staff member at this place seems to absolutely love their job, they greet you at the door they're friendly taking order they're just everything you would want to staff if I ever own my own shop I would try like heck to steal every single one of Jersey Mike's employees.

If you really enjoy subs and Fresh Sandwiches and Quality Meats and you have not tried Jersey Mike's you have not tried a real quality sub yet.. do yourself a favor, had to Jersey Mike's next time you're craving a sub you will...

I like jersey mikes but this one is very disappointing. I ran inside during a torrential downpour because I was craving one of their subs. When I ran in a girl was sitting on a stool and she didn't move. A young man(Austin) came out and looked like I had bothered him with my presence and asked if I already knew what I wanted. I said a number 7 with no cheese and white bread. He started slicing the cheese but I just didn't say anything. He asked if I wanted it Mikes way and I said "no" and then he proceeds to make it mikes way. I finally said, "I didn't want it mikes way" after he started to put the oil on the sub. He looked at me and said "well you should have said something" I apologized for not saying it not loud enough but all he did was take the lettuce off and stare at me. He rang me up and slid the sub across the counter and walked away. Didn't ask if I wanted a bag, or a combo, or thank me. I guess they don't want customers at this store so I'll just go to firehouse or jimmy...
