This is a very complicated review. Our food was delicious. We came in with a party of nine.5 adults and 4 kids. The hosts were super kind and told us they would get us close together because they have booths.
The servers basically fought over who would be taking the tables since they were in different sections. We told them it would be one check and we agreed to different servers per table and 2 checks. We understood.
We paid attention to the server taking our children’s order and it was a few minutes after ours. Perfect.
Our food came, we ate, our kids still didn’t have their food. They were coming over to our table picking off our plates. Once our Server came and asked if we were ready for the check, I said yes, but can you please check on the kids food?
The manager in the kitchen came out, and confronted my 15-year-old daughter who didn’t have a clue what was happening. He said you’re at table 62 right? Like she’s supposed to know what table she is sitting at?!!
He said your ticket time is in nine minutes. You have a burger. I only pay attention to ticket l times. As it turns out when we got our checks, their food order was placed 20 minutes after ours.
My boyfriend stood up at that point wanting to handle that instead of my daughter. The manager continued to be unprofessional any rattle on about his issues in the kitchen.
One thing I’ve learned from management is you always approach a table and apologize. Things happen. My family was super sweet, but everybody commented how confrontational the episode was and him approaching the table escalated the situation. As in if he just never even showed up, it would’ve been better.
My family was supposed to get on the road to Atlanta.. Servers should swap tables if they get a party with one check that takes up two tables.
We wished everyone a great day and all the staff acted like nothing ever happened that there was never any issue.
Put based on this treatment from the manager to my children, Even though the food was good, I will never eat...
Read moreVisiting restaurants is not just about savoring delicious food; it's also about the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, during a recent visit to KeKe’s restaurant @ the town center we encountered a disappointing situation with the management. While the food was excellent, the rude behavior of the management cast a shadow over our experience. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were immediately captivated by its inviting ambiance. Definitely set high expectations for an enjoyable much needed family putting! The restaurant undoubtedly excelled in the culinary department. The menu boasted a variety of mouthwatering dishes, and our choices did not disappoint. Each plate was beautifully presented, and the flavors were exquisite Regrettably, the excellent food was overshadowed by the rude behavior displayed by the restaurant's management. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service left a sour taste in our mouths. When confronted with a simple request, they responded with condescension and impatience, showing a complete lack of respect towards their patrons. The Saving Grace: Reese, the Waiter: not ours but extremely helpful Despite the discourteous management, our morning was somewhat salvaged by our Reese. He went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was pleasant. Reese was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a genuine desire to make our visit memorable. His friendly demeanor and willingness to answer our questions helped alleviate some of the frustrations caused by the management's behavior.
In conclusion, our visit to KeKe’s left us with mixed feelings. While the food was excellent and the ambiance inviting, the rude behavior exhibited by the management tainted our overall experience. However, it's important to acknowledge the efforts of Reese, who provided exceptional service and made our morning more enjoyable. We hope that the restaurant management takes steps to address their behavior and understand the importance of treating customers with respect and...
Read moreI joined my friends for a meal at this eating establishment today, and to start everything was normal. It was only when one of my compatriots decided on two orders of fried onion rings that this experience took an unexpected, even dark turn. Despite being clearly listed as a menu item, we were informed by our sympathetic waitress that they had discontinued them long ago and never bothered to change the menu. My associate woefully settled for a salad, and myself and another chose the pancakes, chocolate chip and plain, respectively. My pancakes came out with no noticeable issues, but a skid mark reminiscent of that left on a toilet bowl atop the pancakes belonging to the man sitting across from me told of a mishap in which they mistook his order for mine own, and once realizing the blunder attempted to remove the chocolate chips from the pancakes. I am by no means a fan of the rings of onion people so often enjoy, in fact I quite dislike them, but to see my friend get bamboozled like this at the hands of Keke’s was downright preposterous. As we finished our meal, I decided to relieve myself in the men’s room before the long drive home. As I went to wash my hands, as most people do after a trip to the commode, I was flabbergasted when I went to apply soap to my hands and felt only air expelled onto them. The miscreant responsible for refilling the dispensers failed at his duties, and I had to touch the door handle and everything else in the restaurant and beyond with these unclean appendages for quite some time until I could get home to thoroughly wash my tainted mitts. This villainous act of neglect made it to where I could not even properly shake the hand of another associate as we parted ways, and I had to do an upside down left hand shake with him instead. What kind of farewell is that, Keke’s? One brought on by a lack of delicious fried onion rings and no soap in the bathrooms,...
